“This was actually our second stay at Lum as when our flights were delayed we wanted a little haven to relax and enjoy our extra time in the South. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and everything about the complex made it feel like a lovely place to stay. “Immaculate cleanliness, very spacious luxurious room. Its a little away from the bustle so it has a few advantages and drawbacks. Excellent value for money in what you get, really nicely appointed accomodation. Having a washing machine is also very convenient. Very enjoyable stay, would highly recommend! ”

“Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water. The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access. We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good……

“Staff was wonderful, highly recommend. Rooms were cleaned daily, the rooms were functional, the property it self is a bit old, but still very beautiful. Private secluded beaches, you just cant beat the views and how private it is. I initially only had the reservation for 3 days, but extended it to a week. Highly recommend! ”

“This place is not a hostel or a hotel. It has just three rooms above a cafe. The only good side is its location. It is just one minute away from Ahangama Train Station, so you don’t need to deal with tuk-tuk mafia. It is on the main road, probably in the most central location in Ahangama town. All famous cafes/bars are within walking distance. (The road and bars below can be a little noisy.) Very near to the beach. Negative sides: It is just a room, with no common areas or socialising……
