"There are not world class brand hotels in the island and you should lower your expectations and be reasonable to judge everything in an island which is in the middle of nowhere.
The ladies who manage the hotel are nice and caring , they picked us up at the airport with a nice necklace of flowers, on time , check in was fast . The breakfast is relatively good and the location is good if you rent a car . If not the owners are always available and ready to help . Overall I recommend this property."
"Explora Rapa Nui is definitely a unique hotel. I traveled with my friend, and since we were visiting such a unique place as Easter Island, we decided to make the experience special and stay at Explora.
Is it worth the money? At first, we debated about it, but after our stay, I would strongly recommend it if you have the opportunity.
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was incredibly well organized. We didn’t have to worry about what to do, what to book, or where to go, the hotel took care of everything. They understand exactly why people come to Easter Island and really want their guests to discover what makes this place so special.
The adventure team was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Our guides were incredible, and the drivers and the entire staff were extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. The attention to detail throughout the whole experience was impressive.
The food was also excellent, and dinner was a wonderful opportunity to discover and enjoy different Chilean wines.
Explora has definitely become one of my favorite hotels in South America. It made our experience on Easter Island so much easier and more memorable, and I really hope I’ll have the opportunity to experience Explora at some of their other locations in the future.
Highly recommended!"
"This place was really incredible. I'm now back in Canada wishing I was at Tahai Loft. It was clean, much bigger than I thought and a great location for the sunset and seeing a Moai. The ladies were fantastic at communication and I would send a "Whats app" for things like taxi numbers or tour questions and they would give me a very quick response. If I'm ever lucky enough to go back to Rapa Nui (Easter Island) I will definitely be staying at Tahai Loft."
"The amenities are excellent, and they even have a drinking water tank, showing consideration for the environment. The staff are polite and, above all, kind."
"The hotel is lovely. Set in beautiful gardens. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was the best we had had on our 4 week Brazil Argentina Chile and Easter Island. Wolfgang is friendly and kind. He makes sure to speak to everyone personally ally at breakfast. He is a mine of information about the island. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s perfect. X"
"Our stay at Cabanas Te Maori was absolutely exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip to Easter Island.
From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Patricia was simply amazing—kind, welcoming, and always ready to help us with everything we needed. Her attention, recommendations, and assistance made our stay truly special.
The location is wonderful, the room was comfortable and perfect for relaxing after exploring the island, and the tours were excellently organized. Thanks to Patricia, we were able to enjoy Easter Island in the best possible way and discover its incredible beauty.
The hospitality, the atmosphere, and the care we received made this a truly magical experience. Easter Island is already a unique place, but staying at Cabanas Te Maori made it even more unforgettable.
Thank you Patricia for making our stay so special. Everything was perfect, and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting this incredible island!"
