We stayed here on our way to Capitol Reef. The place was clean and decently roomy. The bed was comfortable and the front porch was nice. It was easy to find and had a restaurant on the property.

From the moment we arrived, Kurt was awesome. He explained everything clearly. He gave us perfect tips for sightseeing all the spots we were interested in. Accommodation was perfect! Nice, cozy, clean, and quiet cabin. Exceeded our expectations by a lot! We would most definitely go back and stay here if/when we go back to Hanksville!

We've stayed in the cabins a few times and they're very comfortable. Definitely a step up from a motel room. They're a little more spacious if you have gear, plus, the beds are on frames that are high enough up off the floor so you can store your camping/gear bins under the bed and out of the way. The cabins also have windows all around so you can open up the blinds and brighten it up, which is also better than a motel. I've also found the staff that works in the office to be pleasant and helpful. The grounds have always been well kept and clean. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating to the communications is that the office is only open from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, so the phones don't get answered until 3:00 every day. Not that big a deal, though.

This property was great - the cabin was clean and relaxing - its location was a great jumping off point to visit Goblin Valley state park. We had a nice time and Dukes restaurant was a local treasure. The food was excellent.

We had a great stay in one of Duke's double queen bed cabins! The cabin itself was clean and cozy with a nice air-conditioning unit when needed. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size and well equipped. Everyone we encountered, staff and guests, was friendly and welcoming. Onsite restaurant was great for dinner (I'm sure they do a nice breakfast and lunch as well) and we could easily walk to the nearby coffee shop (Mowgli's, which we loved and visited twice), a must-see sculpture garden called Carl's Critter Garden and the town's cute little grocery store. It was the perfect home-base for a visit to Goblin Valley State Park and Capitol Reef. Fantastic star-gazing too! Highly recommend!
