The location is great. Very convenient to town and walkable. Restaurants, shops, and museums are within a few blocks. Every staff member we encountered was polite and friendly, and check-in was efficient. Coming with young children, our group really appreciated the indoor and outdoor pools as well as the good-sized lobby where we could get together. The beds were comfortable and appeared clean.
The less positives: parking on a busy weekend is ridiculous. We were only able to park in the hotel lot about half the time. We were never able to get pool towels when we swam. Breakfast was meager and healthy options even more so. The milk I added to my coffee was lumpy. Our bathtub drained really slowly, gross water was in the coffee maker reservoir, and an item from a previous guest was left in our room.
We stayed over Tom Sawyer Days, which is a very busy weekend in Hannibal, so that may have exacerbated the issues, but staying on that weekend costs $200 a night and so I’d expect a little more.
