  • A two bedroom, one bathroom property that can accommodate up to 6 people. has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, ovens, cooking utensils and dinning wares. Linens and towels will be provided to guests. WiFi connection is available. No pets allowed. Non smoking property .

    Enjoy the quiet beach, peaceful surroundings and lots of nature. The night sky is spectacular and the stars are countless. The cottage is very cozy, QUIET, very comfortable for your relaxation. If you're looking to escape, the cottage is for you!
    The property being on the lake, the weather changes anytime and is much cooler and windy, however window air conditioner are provided during hot weather.

Great stay

Everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Joy the host always got rite back to text and was extreamly helpful. The yard and beach are so nice. Lots of room for fun family games.

Get away with my kids

This was the perfect home base for our kayaking adventures. We had a wonderful stay as everything was exactly as described. Plenty of room for my small kayak trailer, the available charcoal grill was an added bonus

Relaxing spot

The VRBO is comfortable, unfussy and well-provisioned. A great place to just hang out and relax. The beach is unpopulated and a good spot to watch the always-changing water. We discovered some interesting places to visit nearby.

Great way to start the summer

We had a wonderful time - the property was just what we needed and the surrounding towns were great! It was everything promised in the description and more! It wasn’t fancy but we didn’t need fancy - just comfy and cozy! Great hosts - easy to work with - very private and quiet.

Favorite Beach Spot

Our third summer staying here and it did not disappoint. The beach and view of the stars are our favorite. The kids were disappointed that the large hammock was gone, but still had so much fun. Can't wait to stay again next summer!

Peaceful

Each day we felt subsequently more relaxed and immersed in nature. The stargazing was wonderful and the private beach a major plus. We felt safe and unbothered. And the nearby town was cute, good restaurants and friendly locals. Would highly recommend!

Our 4th year staying at Sunrise on Sandy Beach and better than ever! Joy is a wonderful host and the house is stocked with everything you might need. Perfect for Kayaking and star gazing. Always clean and comfortable. So many memories made!

Private Beech Getaway

Beautiful view and access to the beech on a nice gated property. Kitchen and bathroom were not the nicest but very usable. Biggest downside was the master bed was very uncomfortable and quite squeaky. Would consider staying again possibly

Had a Great Time!

Great semi-private beach on Lake Huron. Bring water shoes, because it’s rocky. There was plenty of space inside for our family of four. Everything was clean and in good condition Heads up that the images posted are of both sides of the house.

Peaceful and beautiful

Two of my cousins and I stayed at the Tan's property for a family reunion nearby. We plan to stay in the other duplex next year. The owners are available if you run into issues (we did not). The duplex is lakefront and secluded. Both sides have a lake facing patio with seating. It is clean, with all necessary amenities included. We did not turn on the TV so cannot address reception there, but we did use WiFi and that was ok.

Family Summer Vacation

Our stay on the private beach along Lake Huron in the quiet Thumb Region was really wonderful. My children enjoyed going out to the beach, feeling safe, and especially liked the twin beds on the upper level - their own loft and hideaway. The property offered all it boasted. It would be better to have the duplex home listed as 2 separate vacation homes. It was difficult to tell which listing was the property we were staying in. We didn't mind having neighbors but we didn't understand they were joined. Love this region of Michigan. We hope to be back.
