Overnight Winter Parking
Parking is tricky here in the winter time. The available lots are close by, but the instructions are confusing. You need to stay on one side of the lot for overnight parking so that they can plow if it snows. They alternate which side to use, every night, based upon the date (even or odd). Problem is, what date is used? ( ie parking before midnight or after midnight). Which date is used is not clear and I’ve gotten tickets from Harbor Springs finest using either approach. I called the township office and they sound confused as well. The ticket is only $10 if you pay cash the next day, so bring extra cash.

Hello Dianne, Thank you for staying with us and your review. We know parking can be kind of tricky, especially in the winter with snow plowing. We do leave some maps in the unit within the welcome book that show some parking lots that cars can be kept at during the stay. Loved the location. Loved the apartment! Very cute and clean. Only exceptions were the pillow cases were dirty. I just re-washed them since there is a handy washer/dryer in the apartment. I killed 8 spiders while I was there. But otherwise, loved it and would definitely rent it again!

A little work and a little play
I stayed here for 3 nights to work in the area, my daughter was with me and we were able to enjoy the town after work. I love Harbor Springs. This condo was in a great location and easy to get to everything in the town. I would recommend staying here.

Location downtown near(walkable) restaurants, pastry shop, pier, and Saturday's farmer market. There was easy parking (except morning of farmer's market, car had to be moved early) despite no designated parking lot. Only Apple TV available, which was a minor inconvenience.

January stay
My daughter and I thought this was the perfect place for a ski weekend. We could walk to restaurants and skiing was only 10 minutes away. Downtown is so cute. The lights on the trees made it particularly pretty. The place was clean and tastefully decorated.

Amazing Stay
The perfect place for us for the weekend! Everything we needed was provided, location in town was perfect, and directions to access the rental were so easy to follow. Condo was very clean and smelled fresh and clean. We will be back for many more stays!

Very nice property. There were a couple issue we feel need attention. The corners of the rug in the living room were curled up. Older guests find this dangerous. Trip and fall. Our solution was to place a book on the corner of the carpet. Guests should be pre-warned that cable tv is not available. The apple tv was not consistent and at times frustrating. The flap in the toilet tank needs adjusting. These are easy fixes and we are sure will be addressed. Please don't get the impression that we didn't enjoy our stay. Very pleasent.

Excellent location and good value
Excellent location to enjoy Harbor Springs. It's above a store front but was very quiet. The check in process was very easy, seamless. The space was plenty for two people and very efficient. The bed was comfortable. I gave it an overall 3 out of 5 for these reasons: *sparse amenities. No coffee but plenty of nice teas. However, the Kuerig did not brew. Luckily,there is a nice coffee cafe right across the street. *the living space does have a TV but it is not set up to cable. There were not good instructions on how to set up the Apple TV box to wifi. We could not get it to synch *No bathroom soap or wash *the instructions on how to check out and expectations on linens, bedding, kitchen were very detailed to the point of not feeling customer friendly. We could have used that level of detail on the tv * overall room was comfortable, if a bit dated Good value for the $$ during peak season. Excellent location!

Short early June stay
Property was clean and quaint, excellent location. The only complaint is the place was a warm - for unusually warm temps in June, we arrived with the window unit turned off and it had to be over 80F in the unit - impossible to cool down in time for sleeping. I can’t imagine had it been summer. Also, for us much as we paid it would be nice to have 2-ply toilet paper!!!

Perfect Getaway
The apartment was in the perfect location! Interior was cozy and clean. It is located right downtown within walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants. 10 minute drive from Pond Hill winery too. I would definitely recommend this place!

We had a very nice stay on Main Street in Harbor springs. The location is walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars in town. The apartment was cozy and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the water from the bedroom was beautiful. I would recommend staying here.

Although the cover photo Isn’t actually the property it’s still in a great location just not as nice of a building. Sadly the key wasn’t available when we arrived and the washer didn’t work. Quite pricey but we visited on a peak weekend.

So many issue and NOT clean!
I’m not sure where all of the “clean” reviews came from. That was not our experience. We have stayed in many rentals while traveling and this one was by far the worst! Whatever cleaning company cleans for this property should probably be retrained. The refrigerator shelves were dirty, the toaster still had crumbs from previous guests, the living room rug was absolutely filthy! I didn’t even want to touch it. That bathroom sink and toilet were clean, however, the floor around the toilet was full of cobwebs and dust and the shelf in the shower still had marks form previous bottles on it. The pillows were so thin that we had to go buy new ones to sleep with! The air conditioner is a joke! Because this is on a second floor, it gets very warm and stuffy. The air conditioner only cools about a 5 ft radius in front of it and does not reach the bedroom. I did try to contact management about it, to see if maybe there was a trick to getting it to cool, however I got no response. We also contacted the phone number to help us with the washing machine and got no response from that either. We eventually figured it out. Also, opening picture used to advertise this property, on VRBO and the management app is a pic of a building 2 blocks away! Most of this we can get past, but the cleanliness was absolutely NOT acceptable!!

Hi Melissa, Thank you for the feedback; we have replaced the living room rug along with the bedding in the master bedroom. In response to the cleaning, we have addressed this with the cleaning crew and have made some changes that will show improvement for future stays. During this off season we are working hard to make the necessary changes to upgrade the unit. The default photo also has been updated to reflect the condo's actual location to alleviate confusion. Very Nice
