Whether you`re chasing snowy slopes, dipping your toes in crystal-clear Little Traverse Bay, or simply sipping coffee on the wraparound porch, this cabin is your gateway to pure northern Michigan bliss!

Nestled among the trees on a hill with a view of The Highlands Ski Area and Resort a short distance away, Ironwood Lodge was just recently built and is a calm, quiet spot with access to the best of up-north activities. A 10-minute drive to downtown Harbor Springs or Petoskey, or a 30-minute drive to Charlevoix or Mackinaw City will find guests lounging and swimming at public Lake Michigan beaches, shopping at the many boutiques and stores, skiing only minutes away at Nub`s Nob or The Highlands ski resorts, golfing at over a dozen wonderful local courses, and enjoying the fabulous restaurants the area offers. Whether you`re looking to spend your days adventuring in Northern Michigan or simply to relax and unwind, Ironwood Lodge is the perfect place for a vacation to remember.

Ironwood Lodge sleeps 12 and is located within easy drives of popular Harbor Springs, historical Petoskey, Cross Village, Charlevoix, and Mackinaw City, with it`s ferries available to Mackinac Island.

MAIN FLOOR:
A spacious, open floor plan with cozy living room seating, dining, and kitchen

2 sets of French doors open to an expansive, wrap-around deck with outdoor seating and impressive views of the tree-filled property.

The Living Room is centered around a stunning stone, wood-burning fireplace with a Smart TV perched above and features leather and cloth seating.

The Kitchen is stocked with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, and towels. Further kitchen amenities include: Refrigerator, electric oven/stove, microwave, combo traditional and K-cup coffee maker, dishwasher, crock pot, electric griddle, blender, and 4-slice toaster

Complimentary coffee, tea, cream and sugar are included with your stay.

Dining is casual built-in bench seating as well as island counter-top seating.

A cozy main floor main bedroom offers a queen bed, closet space, Roku Smart TV, full-length mirror, room darkening curtains, and easy access to the main floor full bath.

The second bedroom on the main floor is a family/kids` bedroom, providing guests with a queen-size bed and a twin bunk bed and a closet and Smart TV. There`s easy access to the main floor full bath.

The main floor bath has a custom tiled bathtub / shower. Towels are provided for guests, and a hair dryer is located in the loft bath vanity.

WIFI is provided throughout the house.

LOFT AREA:
A spacious loft overlooks the main living area and includes a table and soft stools for kids to play with the board games or puzzles provided. A vegan leather couch offers extra seating for TV viewing or participating in the excitement below.

A work space with a desk and chair (if you MUST work while on vacation😊) is provided in the loft area as well.

The loft bedroom offers comfort and luxury with its high ceilings, king-size bed, Roku Smart TV, ceiling fan, full-length mirror, black-out curtains, closet space, and connected en-suite with tiled walk-in shower.

LOWER LEVEL:
The basement is a playground for kids and adults alike with its large LED smart TV with an old school Wii system, and comfortable seating.

This space also includes a shuffleboard table and retro cocktail arcade table with all the games you remember from `back in the day!`

There is a spare fridge for drinks or food, found tucked behind the stairs.

The bedroom on this level offers two built-in twin bunk beds and a Roku Smart TV.

The half bath on this level is roomy with plenty of storage

You`ll have access to the laundry facilities, with a new washer and dryer. An ironing board and iron are also available.

On this level, there`s easy access outdoors to the back yard area and fire pit.

OUTDOORS:
For relaxing after a long day of skiing or hiking, try the Finnish style barrel sauna right out the back door. And for nights gathering around a bonfire, a firepit with lighting, chairs and ski lift seating is available.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS:
Ironwood Lodge is located next to Happy Days & Nights Winery. There are some great wineries, breweries and distilleries in the bay area as well.

For the skiers and snowboarders, the lifts at both Nub`s Nob and The Highlands are only a 5-minute drive away. For even more skiing terrain, try Boyne Mountain - about a 35 minute drive away

For the golfers, the Highlands has five courses, Bay Harbor and Crooked Tree golf courses have amazing views, and within a short drive there are easily a dozen more courses to explore.

For meals out, there are tons of local restuarants and bakeries for you to sample.
