"The bed and couch were extremely hard, there was no throw blankets to get cozy with, and all the overhead lighting was a bit bright. My sincere recommendations: get a topper for the bed, find a more comfy couch, and put some dimmer lights/ lamps in for ambience. "

"Staying here was a huge part of what made our Alaska trip so special. It felt like living in our own private cabin in the woods but was just a few minutes from stores and restaurants. All this snow and cold is an unfamiliar environment to me but Nancy made us feel safe and comfortable and had lots of suggestions and helpful tips, and kept the driveway plowed and plugged in our car for us. Plus we really enjoyed visiting with her! I will always have wonderful memories of staying here!! Bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed having a bathtub to soak in. Highly recommend! "

"The staff were great and very nice. The not so good. The breakfast included was a microwave your pick of a grocery store breakfast bowl. The room was clean but an odd layout with a separate shower toilet room and separate room for sink. The furniture and bed were old and the chair in the room had no cushion remaining. For the money not a very good room."

"Absolutely wonderful experience! The property was spotless and cozy, and the host was absolutely amazing! She communicated so well and was responsive to any questions. I highly recommend - 5 stars for sure!"
