「A great one night stay on my way up to Scotland. Fabulous hospitality and made to feel very welcome. Had a peaceful night's sleep. Janice cooks a mean omelette for breakfast and enjoyed my packed lunch. Lovely estuary walking and lots of nature reserves in the area. Would stay again if in the area.」

「Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room.」

We were able to arrange to collect the keys early as we were due at a wedding and Dianne went out of her way to help us arrange a taxi booking to and from the venue nearby. 「Staff were excellent and so helpful. Food and breakfast service was first class. The bathrrom was very modern clean and well kept. The carpet was stained and did have a little fusty smell however the overall experience and amenties were good in the room. The tea caddy table did need to be bigger was difficult to make drink on there. 」

「Unfortunately it was not an enjoyable stay and the staff were not interested. The beds were clean but that was about it. Windows, wall skirting, ceilings all dirty, stained and lots of cobwebs. Breakfast was okay. We have no water pressure so the shower went cold very quickly. Then would be warm again one there was a bit of pressure.
