The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "It was the best place we’ve ever stayed at, peaceful, calm, beautiful, and on top of that every member of staff was extremely lovely and helpful , our son who has special needs had the best time there , thank you :)"

Romantic and cosy cottage, countryside views, near to the beach and mountains

"If I could give this property and the wonderful hosts 11 out of 10, I would. We've stayed here previously and each week was perfect. The arrival instructions and information was excellent. The cottage was immaculately clean. It was been loving restored. Keeping the character but a modern, tasteful upgrade using the highest grade materials and furnishings. The fabulous hosts have thought of everything you may need to make your stay comfortable and totally relaxing. The cottage was peaceful and private but with access to the most beautfully kept gardens. Fabulous walks and bike rides around the area. Should you need any help or further information about the local area, the hosts were on hand to answer any questions, I just sent a message. This is our go-to cottage now. I just hope sharing our wondeful experience does mean it gets too booked up! "

"Lovely hotel, restaurant food was very good, wait staff excellent, The room was good, but found the bed a big hard. There was no aircon and the fan was not really suitable to keep the room cool. There were no tissues or shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Disappointing no fridge to keep drinks cool and no complimentary water."

"This place really exceeded our expectations. We thought it looked nice online but it’s even nicer in real life. We had a family room and we were very happy with it. Everything was clean and well kept. We were very impressed with the quality of everything in the hotel, including the lovely smelling shampoo and shower gel provided, the super soft bedding and the nice, powerful shower. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Nothing we asked felt like too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious and they had options for vegetarians and vegans, which was great for us. There are also EV charger in the hotel car park, which really helped with our trip. The hotel itself is in a great location for exploring Betws-y-coed and North Wales. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in that area!"
