Stayed just one night - but I could see staying at least two nights in order to see Harper's Ferry properly without racing around. The Bed and Breakfast is located on Washington Street, which is the main road into town, and is located at the top of the hill before you descend into the town. I walked into town, and it was a real slog to walk up and down the hill. However, I was able to stop and enjoy the beautiful and varied architecture, which I would have missed if I was in a car. I can imagine the town being quite crowded on weekends, and parking would be a problem in town, so a suggestion is to drive to the Visitor's Center, park there and catch the shuttle bus. I really enjoyed my stay, the Bed and Breakfast only has four rooms, so it is both a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. I loved the fact that there was no TV in the room. You are there to get out and enjoy the beautiful town, and there is a nice veranda to sit outside in the evening instead of watching TV. Breakfast was very good, with fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the owner, Etel, who is a fascinating and very friendly woman. All in all, an excellent stay in a wonderful town.
