Light Horse Inn: Suite 1

Summary:

This large suite has a king size bed, ten foot ceilings, jacuzzi tub and separate shower. This spacious suite will allow you lots of room to spread out and relax. When the building served as a tavern and inn from the 1790s this room was used as the public section for sleeping quarters, with eight or more people sleeping in the room. It was also rumored to have been used for dancing. The original heart pine floors have been preserved and numerous architectural details are showcased as well. This suite has beautiful antique furniture throughout.

The Light Horse Inn is one of the most historic homes in Harpers Ferry. It's colorful past over the 225 year history make this home an ideal location to stay & explore the greater Harpers Ferry area. Walk to restaurants, Appalachian trail, historic lower town Harpers Ferry. Kayak, tube, raft, zip line and enjoy all the natural outdoor activities found in the area. Your stay includes a hot, delicious and plentiful breakfast each morning. Children 12 years and older welcome.
