「My wife and I were on a trip to an area where I have been going to my entire life. The stay at this establishment was fist rate and all of the staff were very helpful. We will recommend to family and friends.」

「Third floor ice machine was noisy. Elevator bell is too way too loud can be heard down the whole floor. Still best hotel in Prairie du chien. Will stay again.」

「Guy behind the desk was very helpful, answering all my questions. The bed gave me my best nights’ sleep in a long while. The location was walking distance from a planned family gathering, the room had everything I needed, and I parked my car in a well lit area— all good! Thank you! Terry」

「It was a very quiet atmosphere and restful. Only issue we had was getting the room key to work. Had to slide it just a certain way.」

「A very quiet shop.」

「Beautiful place to stay, great amenities, awesome staff. Beautiful set up, outdoor lights, hot tub and fire pit. Would highly recommend to any couple looking to get away, rekindle , or anniversary」

「Self check in. Never saw anyone but was sent two messages. First instructed us that we were in room 8 only to receive second message a couple of hours later saying we were instructed that room 10 was our room. I replied that we were in room 8 and we stayed there but never received a reply back. Everything worked good with check in process.」

「Room was very clean and updated. Owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions.」

「Wonderful historic location. Host provided thoughtful extras that we didnt think to bring. Our only suggestion would be if you prefer a softer mattress I would bring a mattress pad.」

「Our stay was very good overall. There was an issue with the refrigerator/freezer. When the blower fan on the freezer kicks on there is a very loud noise. If you are in the kitchen, it's hard to talk over the noise. There also was a leak in the shower upstairs that drips through the ceiling into the kitchen. We overcame these two things and overall enjoyed our six day stay.」

「Beautiful property! The pool was fantastic in the hot weather!」

「Ed was very knowledgeable and interesting. He gave us several great suggestions for places to visit and eat. He also offered us a tour of his property on his 4 wheeler, which was a lot of fun. I was able to feed the animals from the corn that grew on his property, too. Be sure to visit with him if you get the chance. The accommodations are part of Ed's house in the country. It's laid back and rural-not spotless but homey. :)」
