An awesome glamping experience

Great location!! Shepherds hut fully equipped and well thought out, even has a picnic basket and blanket. Host is super friendly and helpful. Easy access to local community, walks, cycle tracks through beautiful forests with picnic spots along the way. Safe environment and free parking a short walk from the accommodation. Braai (barbecue) and fire pit. As SAFFA’s was great to sit around the fire under the stars braaing marshmallows. Thanks for an awesome stay.

Stay Feedback – 26 August

We stayed at Deer Hut on 26th August for our anniversary. Unfortunately, the stay was not as comfortable as we expected. When we opened the door, there were lots of flies around the lights, and the back window was open when we arrived. There was also a spider in the bathroom, which made my wife very scared and uncomfortable. Because of these issues, we couldn’t relax properly and didn’t sleep well that night. We were looking forward to a nice and relaxing anniversary stay, so unfortunately this affected our experience.
