"I loved the location in the UWS. The room was clean and adequate for one person. I was not informed about the "facility fee", which was more than $200 for the week in addition to the room fee. It was a surprise at check out. I was charged for things I didn't use: a walking tour which I didn't know about, and bottles of water in the room which I didn't use. Those should be optional and guests should be informed beforehand. The front desk staff was excellent. The housekeepers were pleasant. The oranges at the front desk were a nice modest touch but could be fresher. The vouchers for Mille Feuille were handy. In short, the hotel needs to inform guests of all charges and it should make the tour and water bottles optional. I'd stay there again because of the great location."
