Waited 15 minutes in the lobby for front desk personel to make an appearance in response to my repeated bell ringing at the front desk. House phone didn't work, clock radio didn't work. Room was somewhat rundown in spite of apparent renevation. Only plus was a great area for dog walking. Overall, very disappointing.

The staff was nice. The place was clean, comfortable bed however the TV remote & coffee maker in the room didn’t work. I would hope that all equipment would be tested from time to time to be sure they work when guests arrive.

They have no elevator, seems like the property owners are just trying to do everything as cheap as possible, TV did not work in first room and blow dryers were not working in both rooms.

This Red Roof Inn is really used for workers in the area an that is fine but you can tell they do not out in at of effort keeping it really clean & fresh. The rooms are not roomy & had a smell that was not pleasant, the beds were not really fresh nothing about the Inn was really fresh. I also had family staying in other rooms and one had blood on the sheets & one room had a bathroom faucet leaking water in the floor and had to keep towels under it. when they informed the owner he said he would have to replace it the next time he was at Lowes. I would NOT recommend this location

The only issue we had was with a key not working to open one of the rooms, but the staff verified the problem and then put one of us in another room as we requested, so all was well, and the problem took very little time to resolve.

We have stayed at the Hartselle Red Roof Inn over the last 15 years. The facility is a shadow of its former self. The southern hospitality is lacking. The shower floor was pitched and drained poorly. There was still debris in the drain. The room had the odor of humidity and mold.

Crazy guy in adjoining room was screaming obscenities and sounded like he was tearing up his room…no one did anything?? NOW it sounds like water is running inside our wall?? TV is broken so we cant even drown out all the noise. The attendant is on of the nicest, friendliest people and a wonderful representative of RRI and we LOVE that our dog can stay free!! Room is comfy and pretty clean….overall we just want a safe, quiet night!!

The front desk clerk was exceptionally friendly. The hotel had an odor to it. My room had four wasps in it. I ended up opening a window to get them to fly out. (Slightly terrifying). Superlative small-town hotel
This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations. The building is a little older, but it is obviously maintained with a lot of care. The staff was super friendly and check-in was very easy. The bed was super comfortable, with very soft sheets. The whole room was astonishingly clean - I could have eaten off the floors.Overall, my stay was wonderful; I could not have had a better experience anywhere else. And that's at a budget price, too! I don't know if all Red Roof Inns are this well-kept, but I was thoroughly impressed with this one.

Took 20 minutes to find a staff member. Rooms they sent us to were disgusting. Then staff member argued with us that the rooms were clean. Not even sheets on the bed and trash in trash cans, dead bugs on floor. Other room we booked had a big live bug sitting right in the middle of the bed. Yeah, not clean. First time in my life I left a hotel where I had reservations and went somewhere else.

Hotel a little rough, check in was great, room rough as well, door was difficult to lock & then hard to unlock which could be a big deal if you had to get out quickly. We wanted to tell them when we checked out but no one was there. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

Wheelchair user made to climb stairs
Firstly I'm in a wheelchair 80% of the time. I booked with accessable room. I roll into the hotel to be put on the 2nd floor no elevator. They didn't call to tell us before we got there my only other option was to pay double to upgrade to an empty room but was almost 10& we stayed one night that king room wasn't going to be booked. Usually I get a call letting me know or they make it right nope this lady gave up the upstairs room which made for the rest of the trip(10 days total) me stuck in my chair because I've still yet to calm the fire in my lungs from the up&down stairs. There was dryer sheets in the ac to cover a foul smell. This place is no disability friendly in the least so if you're not healthy don't stay here!!!!

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly there was water all over the floor and my husband had to mop it up the sink was leaking and there was burn holes in the top bedding coffee and juice needs out earlier for the people who leaves real early.
