「The hotel was nice and clean. The room we stayed in was nicely renovated but the property itself was a little bit outdated. The surrounding was nice but sometimes loud due to motorcyclist or car drivers pulling up. 」

「Lovely home made cooked breakfast to order. We were in the suite room lovely living space, futon bed was a little uncomfortable but memory foam used so may just be us. Everywhere was very clean, nice tea and coffee, decor and a well laid out bathroom. Was quite noisy in the morning and could hear breakfast being laid and noise from upstairs bedroom with people walking around. Overal a lovely stay and very friendly owner. 」

She asks your name, and continues to use it in such a friendly manner that you feel like she sees you as a friend staying with her, rather than a paying guest. The breakfasts are very good and you never feel rushed to eat up and leave the breakfast room. Location wise it is spot on, with everything you need only a few minutes walk away. 「The room was tidy, the host was available and helpful, and the location was convenient to central Hastings... for better and worse. Free parking was available around the block in a pretty dingy carpark, but my car did fine. The ensuite shower was almost comically small, but it got the job done.」

「Excellent! Didn’t really have any interaction with staff but they provided a great stay and made it extremely pleasant for us. The room was so cosy and had everything we needed. Close proximity to the village green meant we could walk there for food, drinks or just to explore the surrounding area. Such a lovely stay that we’d definitely be returning again! 」

「stay here because it is very closed to the train and bus station of Hastings. the town itself doesnt have too much attractions but you can go Battle (Battle Abbey), Bodiam castle easily. Room and shared toliet is small but ok for a single backpacker」

「The stable was much bigger than the photos show & was veer clean & spacious with everything to hand. The owners Jan & Nick have thought of everything. The garden & woods are lovely, we were lucky to be there with the bluebells in full bloom. Enjoyed seeing all the animals including horses, rabbits, squirrels & lots of different birds. The stars are amazing when the night sky is clear. Lots of places to visit, we went to Rye, Hastings, Canterbury & Bodiam Castle.」

「The flat was in a great location and Martyn the host was very helpful. It’s a large, light and airy space with 2 good sized bedrooms and a huge lounge/diner (though we tended to eat in the kitchen). The decor is very neutral & everywhere is very clean. We would definitely stay again.」
