「Everything was great! Will definitely come back and stay again.」

「The only issue was with the master bathroom lights tripping the breaker a few times. Other than that, great stay!」

「It was a great stay and even took in a hike on the trail.」

「Peaceful and relaxing stay, stunning view. Our daughter even decided to take senior pictures during the stay. We will most definitely be booking again.」

「The cabin was clean and comfortable. Probably the best bed I've had when not at home. Property was quiet and well kept. It's a really good base camp for exploring the area. I'll be going back again.」

「Camp Pioneer was sold in 2020, but Pioneer Campground lives on. Formerly the staff area of Camp Pioneer, the campground is being thoughtfully developed while still preserving the quiet, rustic feel that makes the property special. The cabins are comfortable, the onsite bathrooms are clean, and the kitchen facilities have everything you might need for a simple and easy stay. The walking trail is well marked, and the creek is fantastic. It is a peaceful place to slow down, explore, and enjoy being...

「Hubby and I had a WONDERFUL experience. The location was perfect and clean - The owner (Matt) communicated with us the entire stay to ensure we had everything we needed. We would stay again.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at Camp Pioneer. The Cabins were clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were close and clean. The back deck looking out over the mountain made the perfect place for us to hold worship services and Bible study. Matt was GREAT to work with and prompt on every need.」

「Super nice place to stay with fenced in back yard for pets which helped us out tremendously. Owner was fantastic helping us out when our German Shepherd had a bad accident. She found us a vet super quick and was willing to help us with the check out procedure. Very quiet with great nice front and back porches.」

When someone sits in their car in front of your room with the lights on doing a "deal" it's annoying. Running water was off all night. TV worked but you had to turn it on and off with the button on the actual TV. Room was not soundproof especially to the outside. Best AC I've ever had at a hotel though, maintained a temp and...

「Host was fantastic in providing details regarding the property and the greater Mena area. We really enjoyed staying at the Sassafras Inn.」
