The owners introduction message, received a few days before arrival, was very comprehensive and informative. The exterior was reasonably neat and presentable. The inside however, was not properly cleaned and there were many instances where this was evident: grease and fat in the oven which caused it to smoke and required that we perform a deep clean to properly use it ; dirt and grime on cabinets and under furniture ; greasy crockery that needed cleaning before use ; cobwebs in a few places. The cottage needs a proper clean which did not seem to have been done for quite some time.

Schöne und ruhige Lage in der Veluwe Schöne und ruhige Lage, nicht in einem Ferienpark. Bei der Ankunft lag eine Blume 💐 mit Glückwünschen auf dem Tisch, da ich den Besitzer nach einem schönen Restaurant in der Nähe gefragt hatte, da meine Frau Geburtstag hatte. Sehr nachdenklich! Voll ausgestattete, schöne Gegend zum Radfahren. Auch unsere alte Dame, 🐈‍⬛ (16), hat sich dort wohl gefühlt 😎

Insgesamt etwas enttäuschend

Gefallen hat uns die Lage der Unterkunft in der Natur und dass Hunde erlaubt sind. Nur wenige Kilometer entfernt gibt es einige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine Apotheke. Die Unterkunft selbst ist stark in die Jahre gekommen und gehört, meiner Meinung nach, komplett saniert. Die Möbel sind sehr abgenutzt, der Boden ist beschädigt, Farbe blättert von den Fensterrahmen ab, die Wände sehen schmutzig aus, das Bad sah auch nicht sonderlich einladend aus und die Eingangstüre hatte an der Gummidichtung Schimmel. Auch die gesamte Wohnanlage ist sehr „naturbelassen“. Zudem hätte die Unterkunft sauberer sein können. Im Fußabstreifer hingen lange, schwarze Haare und auch der Teppich im Wohnzimmer war dreckig. In der Couch hingen Staub und Tierhaare. In der Küche waren die Schubladen und einige Kochutensilien schmutzig. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr klein. Auf der Toilette kann man nur schräg sitzen, das Waschbecken daneben ist selbst zum Zähneputzen viel zu klein. Das Zimmer mit den Stockbetten kann aufgrund der Größe eigentlich nur von Kindern genutzt werden. Zudem fanden wir es schade, dass das Schlafsofa kein Schlafsofa ist und nicht ausgezogen werden kann und der Fernseher nur genutzt werden kann, wenn man ein privates Abonnement für einen Streaming-Dienst besitzt. Andernfalls kann der Fernseher (wie in unserem Fall) nicht genutzt werden, was bei 10 Tagen schlechtem Wetter ungünstig ist. Leider gab es hierfür nicht mehr als eine Entschuldigung. Deshalb leider nur 2 Sterne.

Wij zijn met kerst geweest en bij aankomst waren wij blij verrast dat we een kerstboom in de tuin hadden staan en 1 in het huisje. Ook lag er een leuk en lekker pakketje Het was heerlijk warm binnen want buiten was het echt slecht weer. De afgesloten tuin was heerlijk als je net als ons veel van je hondenkind houd is dit ideaal. De winkels zitten dichtbij en er zijn veel leuke gezellige restaurantjes. Het was er heerlijk rustig, Je kan er heerlijk met een goed boek in verdwalen. Midden in de natuur een eigen plekje waar je alles vergeet. kortom genieten en rust staat daar op nummer 1 Heel erg bedankt.
