"It was nice . Priced right. Pool is nice. Place was good size kind of had a strong Lysol smell though. There's no one that works in the office you have to call a number on the office door to get your room number and the code to your room. Would have been nice to get a text for that info but they helped me get that info once I called. But I would stay again"

"Overall lovely stay. Very close to the beach (about a five minute walk). There were a few ants, which did not bother us but might annoy others, they were very small and no where near the kitchen, so not a big deal. The grill was especially clean which was a nice surprise since they're often quite dirty and the water pressure was great. Bring your own beach equipment since the house didn't have some of the stuff that is often supplied, but the kitchen was better stocked than the norm, so overall good for us."

"A lovely spot for a couple to share steps away from the beach! For as tiny as it is, I was happy with the amount of surface space to put things in the bathroom. I've stayed in bigger VRBOs and had no place to put things. Also, I knew there would be beach chairs, but sometimes they are a bit of a mess. These beach chairs were very nice and comfortable. Also, they included an umbrella that could handle the beach wind and had enough cover for 2. That is not listed in the amenities so I am not sure if someone else left it, or if they added it to the supplies. We had a very comfortable stay!"

"We booked this for a last minute beach trip and it met all our needs as a family of 5. The host lives in the upstairs condo and is very laid back and accommodating. The unit is a very thoughtfully and comfortably converted bottom floor with everything you need for convenience, including washer and dryer. Also has a beautiful deck area surrounded by trees, we even saw some deer in the yard one morning. Highly recommend for laid back and pet-friendly families!"

"Property could use some updating and a deep cleaning. There were broken appliances that did not work, stained furniture that needed cleaning, some broken furniture inside and outside, an elevator that functioned (but not immediately) and not in the way it was supposed to once we finally got it working. Tried to contact host upon arrival but did not hear from her for over 24 hrs. Outside shower area that stores beach chairs and toys was very dirty and in total disarray. We were unable to secure the home when we left to go somewhere as the lock did not have working batteries in it and could not be locked. I noted some of these items were mentioned in previous reviews, but apparently have not been addressed.On the positive side, the beds were extremely comfy and the view of the ocean was beautiful! Kitchen was pretty well equipped and spacious. Pool was a hit with the family as well as the close beach access. However, I feel for the price one pays for these accommodations, they should be as advertised with everything in good working order and clean. Given everything, I will say that we did enjoy our time at Driftwoods Dunes."
