「Great cabin for exploring the golden circle. Felt like you were experiencing the country but in reality was only 1 minute off the highway. Perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Cabin is well stocked with pots/pans/utensils if you want to cook supper and breakfast. 」

「Wir verbrachten in Thordis' schönem Haus Anfangs März 2020 vier Nächte als Familie (2 Paare). Wir fanden im sauberen Haus alles, was wir brauchten. Die Inneneinrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Haus liegt abseits der Strasse nach Gullfoss in einer weiten und ruhigen Landschaft mit genügend Abstand zu einigen anderen Häusern. Thordis kontaktierte uns von Zeit zu Zeit via Mail kurz vor, während und am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes. Danke Thordis! Wir kommen gerne wieder! 」

「Die Unterkunft liegt im positiven Sinne im Nirgendwo, Mitten im Grünen, mit wunderbarer Aussicht in die Natur. Das Haus besteht aus mehreren Apartmentes, die für sich abgeschlossen sind und einem geteilten Aufenhaltsbereich, der eine echte Perle ist. Lediglich zum nächsten Supermarkt ist es etwas weiter, also am besten schon auf der Fahrt mit Lebensmitteln eindecken. Ich kann es von Herzen empfehlen. 」

「The cabin was exactly as described, already a little in its years but very cozy. The pool was fantastic especially on the rainy days to warm everybody up again. The sauna also worked and we had a spectacular view from therein. We really enjoyed our stay!」

「Lovely spacious accommodation. Very clean. Well equiped kitchen. Hot tub was a bonus. And great location for seeing the Northern Lights」

「One of the best apartments we have ever stayed in! Grocery and liquor store less than 100 yards away, so you can take full advantage of cooking meals in the apartment. Rooms were spacious as was the bathroom. Park with frisbee golf, zip line and two "blobs" nearby for the kids to burn off extra energy. There is no laundry, but you can wash in the sink and there is a slight breeze that passes across the balcony and dries the clothes in a day. 」

「This was the last night in Iceland after camper vanning it all week. And, i must say it was an experience. The drive there, the surrounding area, and the beautiful view from the top was phenomenal! The room was very clean and modern feeling. I felt like a James Bond villian in my tower. We got lucky and were the only people there, so we had the tower to ourselves. I highly recommend this stay for a unique night with amazing views!! 」

「The Blue View Cabins offer a well thought out self-catering experience in an area which allows you to beat the tour groups to key sites on the Golden Circle. To top it off, each cabin is equipped with a private geothermically heated hot tub. The accommodation is well furnished and well finished in a modern style, and the whole was very clean.
