“As a road warrior over decades, I have seen good and bad, but I have rarely seen the attentiveness of the staff such as here at the Grand Resort. Always pleasant but exceptionally helpful. I had an emergency shoe repair needed for my only dress pair, and it was late on a Sunday when it was identified. The staff worked out where to get glue, sent a courier, and within an hour it was repaired. Incredible! I have literally never seen anything like it. The next day my meeting ran late, and……

“Friendly staffs”

“This place is a DUMP !! False advertisement. Described on website as a deluxe 1 bedroom studio apartment with fully equipped kitchen overlooking the ocean. We got a very small one room crammed space. A queen sized bed which was 10 steps from the door, a dorm size fridge and small microwave on a table, 1 chair in the corner close to the bed, a rod to hang your clothes. No toiletries, towels or anything. When we inquired about the fully equipped kitchen they took us downstairs to an area that had……

“I enjoyed my stay and both the owner and hostess were very nice. The owner visited for breakfast and interacted with me and my spouse and made us feel very welcomed. Her hostess was very friendly and a joy to talk with. Loved Belize city and our stay.”

“When I checked in I was given a different room than I booked. The room was nicer than my original room but did not have the kitchenette I was planning on using so that complicated things a bit. Also the rooftop terrace was not in the same condition that was shown online and after around 4pm each day I could not access it as I did not usage a key that would work. The shower and tub also did not have hot water.”

“The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. This is a very low key place with a nice outdoor seating area. Breakfast is home cooked, plentiful and delicious. Quiet neighborhood.”

“We had a quick stay for an early flight the next morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed and kindly offered to prepare breakfast for us in the morning. “We loved our stay at Harbour View. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. We used both pools and we had a great time. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with “hello,” “good afternoon,” “how are you”. I appreciated the easy access to filtered water and having a delicious cafe across the street from our room. The view from the terrace took my breath away. In our room, the AC was strong and kept us comfortable. Very safe area and well-lit street. Would recommend and would stay……
