“Very quiet area and certainly good for unwinding. The walk from the parking area to the house was a challenge for an older person with no pathway, and clumpy grass patches on heavily pitted soil were difficult to negotiate in the dark. The kitchen was well equipped and the host kindly provided breakfast supplies. It was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time and a large king size. The bathroom is tiny and lacks enough vanity space to hold toilet bag and clean clothes, or hooks……

“When I made the booking, it is a two bedrooms room. However, the design of this room is strange. It has one big door and has two doors on left and right. It just like a two separate rooms. My kids are small and cannot accept this room type. However, I get upgrade for my room type and live in a house that is great. When you make the booking, please take care for this since I think this cannot be upgrade in the peak season. Please note that the hotel just has 30 mins free wifi that is very……

“I loved my stay here, quite comfortable, fantastic nights sleep, great shower and also had a bath for those so inclined. Lovely relaxing outdoor verandah, table and chairs and lounging chairs, I fully intend to return for more than one night next time. Lovely lady who checked me in. Highly recommend for singles and couples. Would love to do a walk on the foreshore but time this trip didn’t allow. So clean, plenty of cutlery and crockery for a couple. ”

“Beautiful clean close to the beach ”

“Beautiful location, easy access to the beach and Nelson Bay is a quick drive away if you need to eat out. The beach was wonderful for young kids and never crowded during our stay. The hous itself is immacculate and well maintained and havig readily available internet and air conditioning meant we were able to relax after a hot day of sswimming. Would definitely stay here again and Glenyss was a pleasure to deal with, very prompt and informative with her communication.”
