Beautiful location

We had a lovely stay here. The house is right on the water making it very easy to sit on the deck in the sunshine while watching the kids play in the water. As some other reviewers have mentioned, there are no steps down to the water (as shown in the picture). But the house is close to town and RIGHT on the water.

Beautiful Views!!

Hard to beat the location and the amazing views. Weird smell from kitchen sink, and other small issues - but looking out the windows at the lake, feeling far away from the world (yet only a mile or so away) made it worth the few inconveniences. To be fair, we were so busy, we didn’t try to contact the management with our concerns while we were there, but let them know after we left. But, oh… the views with morning coffee!

Summer Memories

What an amazing property. Room for the whole family and amazing lake views from every room in the house. Bonus for this property is that it sits in a no wake zone, this made for great kayaking and paddle boarding. Our family had a wonderful time and would stay at this property again in a heartbeat.

Really beautiful place. Perfect for us. Loved it. Neither fireplaces worked and when we inquired they couldn't help us, saying the fireplaces should work. Three was pink mold in the upstairs shower curtain and black mold in the grout of the shower.

Family 80th birthday celebration

Nice house, carpets needed to be cleaned, had 12 people and only 9 towels, no propane for the BBQ and some mold/ spider issues. Overall i would rent again. Had so much fun with the family. The lake was so private and quiet. House was great and clean. I would rent again just bring other items.

Beautiful home right on the lake

This is a beautiful home, right on the lake near Honeysuckle beach. The home is spacious with 5 bedrooms on the upstairs and downstairs. It has a nice dock very close to the house with well maintained dock materials and a covering over the boat slip. The home has beautiful furnishings and paintings on the walls. There is a spacious kitchen and dining area between a large living room and a large formal dining room. The master bedroom/bath is spacious on the upper floor, with the bath having beautiful variegated marble. There is a large elk hung on the wall between the middle floor and the downstairs. Not sure how people feel about animals on the wall, but he was a beautiful creature when alive. I loved this place and our stay this summer and will definitely consider staying here again.

Nice home

Beautiful home right on the lake. Plenty of room for my extended family. My family loved the paddle boards, kayaks and swimming and fishing from the dock. On the evening we arrived it was pouring rain and we were excited to get the fireplaces going. Unfortunately, neither worked. I contacted vacasa but never got a satisfactory response and we weren’t able to use the fireplaces. The only other drawback was that the home is close to a public area and one night there were people partying loudly until about 11. Other than that we were very pleased with our stay!

Beautiful vacation home on the lake

The home could easily be a 5 star vacation spot , great location, directly on the lake and still easy drive into town. The home is well stocked with kitchen gear, toys to play with on the water, beautiful lake views. The negative issues that our group thought that could be improved were there were NO window coverings in the bathrooms or bedrooms and the carpet throughout the home needs cleaning desperately. Overall cleanliness is good but the carpets, not so much.

One thing I like about this house is location and neighbors. Unfortunately house could use some improvement. Carpets were dirty, our comforter had stains. There was not enough dishwasher detergent, paper towels and toilet paper…

Lake front

House was beautiful! The location was great ! Overall beautiful home. Unfortunately there was no information regarding the use of tv and appliances. The beds were uncomfortable, also shoes were not allowed but no place to put them ! The outside was dirty no pillows for the outside table chairs and the The kayaks were hard to access and very dirty with no life jackets . It would be great to have coffee condiments to! The view is stunning and we did have a great time in Hayden Lake .

The House needs attention.

The location was great. The amenities with the house were substandard. It one decent fry pan or pot for cooking. Had to buy more towels, bathroom tissue and basic supplies that were not provided. The picture showed a yard area that has now been converted to rocks. Needs a better bathroom on bottom floor where the bedrooms sleep 8. This own was not set up properly for rental.

Great place to stay at Hayden Lake

Excellent place to stay. We loved the home and the location. We had a large family reunion with 8 kids (ages 5-14) and 4 adults and a dog. Everyone had space— the kitchen was well equipped and the gathering spaces were perfect. The location on Hayden Lake was amazing. We loved using the kayaks and paddle boards. The house has an extra refrigerator downstairs which was super helpful for our large family. The dock was amazing and our family was constantly outside loving every moment of lake life. The only two complaints would be the listing photos of the back of the house are outdated, as the grass is no longer there, it has been replaced with river rock. Also, the stairs going into the lake are no longer there either and have been replaced with large jagged rocks. Overall, we would highly recommend this home and we have already booked for next summer.

Great location/property - poor upkeep

The overall property was beautiful and had great views. However, the cleanliness was questionable. Indoor Trash cans not emptied, dirty dishes in dishwasher, and multiple patches of dried puke on the back patio were the main things we noticed. These obvious shortfalls bring the rest of the cleanliness into question. The photos of the outside are misleading. The backyard area does not have the section of grass, it is all loose rock now, and there are not any steps leading into the water. The missing steps were a huge let down, as I have a disability and could not get into the water without steps.

Beautiful location!

Starting with the positives - We rented this house for a week long family reunion. The location on the cove was perfect. Kids and dogs alike loved jumping into the lake from the dock and it was especially nice that we didn't have to worry about wake from passing boats. We definitely appreciated having the kayaks and paddleboards available to use. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, small appliances, etc. We didn't find a colander, but made do. The kitchen was large enough for us to move around without bumping into each other and the table had plenty of room for the 9 of us to eat, play games, put puzzles together. Sitting on the window seat was especially relaxing with an amazing view. Although the couch setup was a little awkward for viewing the TV, the furniture was comfortable with enough room for all of us. There were several disappointments I feel need to be addressed - We viewed the photos for the property multiple times (for nearly a year) before deciding to rent. This rental was chosen not only for the location, but also because the photos showed a grassy area plus stairs into the lake which we felt was perfect for the kids and dogs. Both the grass and the stairs have been removed, yet the photos have not been updated on any of the rental sites. As mentioned, the window seat was a lovely spot, however, a thorough cleaning of the exterior of the windows would certainly improve the view. The carpet clearly needs attention, especially around the toilets. I called Vacasa on the day we checked in to advise the 2nd queen bedroom upstairs was missing a smoke detector. A Vacasa representative texted my husband to ask if all smoke detectors were missing. He replied to say we'd only noticed the one missing in the bedroom. A maintenance person never came by to resolve the issue. Side note-I'd like to warn renters to be careful when crossing the street between the house and the garage. The street is fairly busy with fast drivers. Overall we loved the house and our stay!

Spacious Home & Great Views

We stayed at Honeysuckle Beach Resort for a winter family reunion. We found the home very spacious and comfortable, and the views of the lake were stunning. Our only suggestion for improvement is to provide more information on home amenities within a binder or similar. We had difficulty finding the dishwasher detergent, operating the remote for the fireplace, and determining which light switches went to which lights (in a few cases).

Sister Trip September 2022

We had a wonderful time. There are 5 of us girls and we need to be together once a year for well needed sister therapy 🥰. The inside house was very clean. I thought the sofa was backwards but it turned out it was my favorite side to sit on. We all got the chance to check out the kayaks and the paddle boards. We tried to stay dry to no avail, but the water wasn't that cold at all. The view was so beautiful. Not far from the store at all. We checked out several restaurants and made some dinners at home. One thing we agreed on is we like being on one level (bedrooms upstairs) so we are more forced to be together, when we are we can do some pretty crazy stuff, not trouble stuff, just make up your own fun stuff.) There was plenty of room to spread out and be in your own space.I would recommend this home. Great for 2-3 families taking a vacation together. Have Fun!!!🥰❤❤❤
