Stunning Country Property within easy reach of Melbourne

"We booked for a family holiday, we really enjoyed just staying in and relaxing at the property. There is some much room in the living area plenty of chairs and table and couches especially loved the sun room for relaxing reading and playing games. The natural pool was stunning and we loved the task of prepping the wood fires spa and enjoy a cold dip before a warm sit. We took a few walks around the property on the tracks down to the natural springs, and had our dog with us who loved having a run and hanging in the pool area. The kids loved using the theatre room and Brendan even set up some frisbee golf for us to play. The views are absolutely incredible having all kinds of weather for our stay was nice being in the clouds and mist and having the sun to lounge about in either inside or on the pool deck.The kitchen is set up with a cooking plate, oven style air fryer and microwave and a 3 door fridge under the bench. We all really enjoyed our stay."

"Quiet location, clean room. The bed was as hard as a rock and I have woken with sore hips and a headache….. lots of bugs in the room, but had bug spray to spray them… needs better ventilation in the bathrooms as the floors can get very damp after shower"

"The property was very comfortable & welcoming for 3 adults, a child & a small dog. It was lovely to have milk & juice left in the fridge to welcome us. The beds & furniture were comfortable, however, on entering the lounge, the fabric lounge furniture & carpet smelled extremely musty & caused the child's asthma to worsen. A steam clean is urgently suggested. There is no hotplate in the kitchenette & only 1 very small lidded microwave container. The crockery cannot go in the microwave as it has a gold metallic rim, so a larger microwave safe cooking container is needed. The only other cooking method is a large electric frypan. A grabrail would be helpful as the shower is in the deep spa bath. Better lighting on winding pathways would be helpful for dark rainy evenings. The property is close to Yarra Glen Village but there is really only a small bakery (till 2.30), IGA, fish & chip shop & hotel for food there."

"Situated in a picturesque part of the Yarra Valley and surrounded by many vineyards and cellar doors that provide something for everyone. Our host Vicky made our stay memorable by allowing us to get acquainted with her beautiful farm animals. This property is next door to Fin Wines which is convenient if you don’t feel like driving anywhere. Easy to find and close to Melbourne cbd."
