Charming, quiet 3-BR cottage; private access to cove and forest trails

"Beautiful property that is well equipped! The living room was so cozy and comfortable. The location is just far enough away to feel private and remote, but close enough to Bath to feel well connected to daily needs. The cove is stunning and feels very private. Overall a lovely stay and our only regret is not staying longer!"

"This is our 6th summer renting Marty and Brenda’s house! We absolutely love their cozy place and the location is fantastic, overlooking the ocean from their deck. Their house is close to so many great resources, including beautiful beaches, mountain hikes, tennis, and kayaking. Our lab loves hiking up Merritt Mountain and swimming in Round Cove afterwards. Both Marty and Brenda are lovely and kind-hearted hosts, and bend over backwards to make sure their guests have a positive experience. We cannot recommend more highly and we have already reserved for next year!"

"The location and views from the cottage are quintessential coastal Maine. Small community with lobster pound and Maine Oyster Company across the street. John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. Great spot!"

"Great place to take the family and visit the nearby beaches. Head and Popham are within 15 minutes. We were booked in a Lighthouse room that had the view of the water blocked by trees and management was very helpful switching us to a better room."

"Beautiful beach! Had to ask for check in information as we were traveling. Booking was incorrect: didn’t include the dog. Paid an extra 500 for the dog: no pet fee was listed on the listing. Presence of ring cameras outdoors was not disclosed until check in information received."

"This house is a real gem! So much fun to walk around and imagine how it functioned as a former schoolhouse. The art and antiques sprinkled throughout really added to the coziness and appeal of the place. So many fabulous art books, unique treasures and thoughtfully curated displays! The kitchen was stocked really well. We had to make a birthday cake and a few dinners from there and it was not lacking for anything we needed. We were a group of 5, and having the two large living spaces was so nice for spreading out and relaxing. We made a trip to Wallace Circle for oysters and lobsters, which was so convenient. We also took advantage of nearby North River Farm for fresh veggies and pies (and to feed the adorable sheep!). The upstairs gets a bit hot, but we were able to quickly cool it off with the air conditioning unit in that bedroom. We would absolutely book this house again!!"

"Excellent property for our vacation with our adult children and partners. Picturesque location, with lots to do in the area, including Popham Beach, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and the golf course at Sebasco Resort. We rented kayaks from Seaspray Kayaks who provided drop-off and pick up. Communication with Bob was excellent and highly appreciated."
