Loved the outside deck area and all the rooms our spacious and the living area is terrific for a large gathering. Be prepared for the driveway thrill ride, it’s a pretty steep drop down to the house but worth the thrill. ”

“Brian was very responsive. Perfect host! We had a fabulous time. Lake access was an easy walk, slightly down the hill. The lake was refreshing to take a swim, kayak, and float. Fishing was nice too. Our Vrbo neighbors stayed at Let’s Go Fishing rental, next to the Captain Bob’s Lake house; we shared the yard with them and they were nice. “Our whole group commented on how this home was the most thoughtfully well-stocked rental we'd seen, especially the kitchen! Such attention to detail throughout - felt like hugs whenever we discovered another surprise (like frosted mugs in the freezer, a blow dryer, cooking seasonings galore, an air fryer!, s'mores skewers, nostalgic CD player! and CDs...) “We spent 5 nights over Christmas and it was absolutely wonderful! The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds, the fake fire place added a homey feel and the kitchen was roomy for cooking and entertaining family. They even put up a small tree! The space was clean and had plenty of towels and necessities. The bonus freshly ground coffee was a treat along with tea bags and hot chocolate for the kids/adults.
