Family Cabin with spectacular views!

Cabin 2 at Runestone Hideaway is the perfect getaway for families. Large covered porch with 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and recliner to sneak away for some quiet reading. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and 2 twins beds. The bathroom has a shower and large garden tub. Large open kitchen, dining and living room. Games and toys are located in the armoire. Large fire pit area to gather around for roasting hot dogs or marshmallows. Feels quiet and secluded with spectacular views and close to hiking. Check out Heavener Runestone Park just steps away.

Some much needed stress and decompress time away from everything, no WiFi no cable , just unplug and unwind , cabin is awesome with everything you need ( well could use a knife sharpener and a meat thermometer ) other than that absolutely loved every minute.

Lovely cabin

Beautiful cabin that was perfect for our family of three. The hosts have thought of everything, from the endless hot water heater to the spiffy Keurig machine with good coffee on hand. We loved being way up above the town, dark skies and fresh breezes. This is a really comfortable place to stay.

Last minute holiday

The cabin was affordable, cozy and quiet. It had everything we needed and the views were beautiful. We were unable to watch TV because we don’t have a Roku account but we didn’t mind at all! We would stay at this cabin again.

Great for the area!

Heavener is a very small town that unfortunately has considerable poverty. That said, this is a great property situated within walking distance of the Runes Park, and only 1/2 hour away from great hiking opportunities at Winding Stair, great picnic spots (at Winding Stair or Cedar Lake). You can also take an afternoon (like we did) and drive to Talahina for Ice Cream and take your time exploring the amazing Hwy 1 all the way to Queen Welhelmina Lodge.

Cozy Cabin

This is a cute, cozy cabin in the woods with amazing views. This was a fabulous place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Nice and clean place. Easy to communicate with the owner who is super nice! We loved our stay!

Great Girls Trip!

This was the cutest cabin for our girls weekend getaway. Great location with beautiful views. Very clean and had everything we could possibly need plus more!
