This is an amazing property, but they had some physical plant issues while we were there - likely due to extreme cold weather. No hot water in the morning wasn't fun. We will go again as it is ideal for families.

Our room sink was sliding all over the place, the toilet flushed about 50% of the time, the shower was broken. It’s a good hotel in general with great amenities but things need repair.

Beautiful location! Room was great with a lovely view. The restaurant is just okay. The adults only pool area is really nice, but guaranteed at least one pool will be out of order when you visit. The hot tub was filthy. The temperate pool was really nice. The indoor/outdoor hot tub was out of order.

Pool areas were not fully operating, there was a bucket in the hallway collecting water from the leaking roof. Room was not cleaned well as there was cobwebs along the ceiling and food under the bed.

Overall, a really nice place to go on a vacation Although I was disappointed to find out I could have brought my dog.Pets are allowed to stay for $15 per night. Just not in the pool area or in the restaurant that is on expedia though

Checked in around 8pm on Friday. The guy at the desk wasn’t the friendliest. Didn’t explain anything. Mumbled when he spoke. Seemed overall grumpy. It was as if us being there was an inconvenience for him. Aside from him, our experience with staff was overall positive. The adult pool was nice. Steam room wasn’t operational but we knew that going in as it was advertised on the website. Unfortunately the cold plunge wasn’t operational which wasn’t advertised. I mean, you could go in but it definitely wasn’t a cold plunge. It was a luke warm plunge. Unfortunately the water was shut off this morning for some reason so we couldn’t shower before leaving, which was unfortunate. The waiter in the restaurant was lovely!

Hotel and stuff is ok. But there were hot water in the suits. Hot tubs and sauna did not work as well. Swimming pool with the hot water is not allowed for children under 18 and there is nothing about this at the web site.

The resort is due for some upgrades. There’s a lot of wear and tear everywhere you go: gouges in the wall, leather peeling off chairs, and a pool shower that showers you with rusty water.

The room was huge furniture was okd and not good for someone with mobility issues. Pool area was freezing outside doors were been blown open from the wind outside . People tied them shut with towels. Area was so cold people wore jackets as their kids swam.

My stay at Hecla Resort was a pleasant one. The room was clean and the resort was also kept keep at all time. There was an heating situation in the restaurant. I only wished that the situation was communicated during arrival.
