"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice. Recommended if you have a car to explore the Izu Peninsula during your stay as there is more limited options nearby the hotel (nearby town has more options for dining). "
