Good place to stay in Heidelberg

Pretty good in location (near the river), accommodation, and breakfirst service! You can reach the most main scenes of Heidelberg by walk in 10 mins. Bus stop is just near the hotel, you can reach the hotel by bus from Heidelberg main station.

The hotel is conveniently located next to a tram stop on the river. The hotel staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms very clean and updated.

The room was immaculate, the staff were friendly and helpful, on the breakfast was great! walking distance from everything in the midst of the Altstadt. Also, impressive was that the room was an oasis of quiet peace, despite being right near the street and a square.

Beautiful location right on the river with views of the bridge and just a short stroll to all the best Old Town has to offer. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and has everything you need. You will love the historic sightseeing filled walk to the tram up to the castle. The bus stop is right in front of this boutique hotel. Perfect for a getaway in Heidelberg. And make sure to grab a meal at Vetter's Alt Heidelberger Brauhaus. Perfection!

Highly recommend staying at the Hotel Villa Marstall as it's a classic and very beautiful hotel to stay while visiting Heidelberg. Very walkable area to the Alstadt area and the Hiedelberg local attractions. The breakfast is fresh and tasty. The only challenge is parking. There is no parking at the hotel itself due to the narrow streets. One can park in any number of garages ranging from 15-30 minutes walking time. Regardless, LOVE my visit to the Hotel Villa Marstall. 5 gold stars!

This hotel is in an excellent position next to the river and a short walk from the Altstadt. Although we were next to the road our room was quiet, as well asimmaculately clean and simple We were disappointed by the very limited reception hours ( nothing after 15.30) and room cleaning only on request which we thought was poor for the price of the room. We managed the self check- in without difficulty but that and the lack of reception support made the place feel soulless. Unusual too not to have a kettle or any other means of making a hot drink.

Nos encantó el hotel!! Super silencioso, una vista increíble al río, y a 2 cuadras de la calle principal. Muchos lugares para cenar, paseos, museos y universidad. Fuimos en diciembre y estaban los mercados navideños, hermosos!!
