“Excellent hotel! Welcoming staff, clean and comfortable room, complimentary drinks and snacks every day. Good location in the southern canal ring. The breakfast in the mornings is also convenient and delicious. Highly recommend staying here!”
“my daughter arrived at midnight because her flight was delayed. The most gracious and kind staff walked her luggage up to her room as the room had a steep flight of stairs. Room service is open 24 seven exceptional dining options. Five star all the way accommodations and lovely staff. I've already booked a mini stay later this month for my daughter during her break From school in Amsterdam. This is truly a gem of gems. we will be back again & again”
“Nice rooms, excellent location and pretty much everything you could need on the property. All the employees were super helpful and friendly.
The property is a maze, so getting to and from your room can feel like an escape room...fun!”
“reception is nice
Location is great
Decoration is cozy and modern
One room has been upgraded to balcony thanks and my parents love it
Three opportunities
1. Room is a bit dark - one more on top lighting will be better
2. AC in the room causes noise
3. Breakfast is ok but not a little bit behind the nh central near the museum”
“The breakfast was outstanding especially the omelette. The chef was very friendly and even put on a little performance. The room was very clean and the service was amazing. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend.

"Not a Hotel — More Like a Hostel Charging Hotel Prices
This place is marketed as a hotel, but in reality, it feels more like a hostel — just with hotel-level pricing. You're essentially paying for the location, as it's close to the museum quarter, which is admittedly convenient.
Here are the key issues:
No real reception – There's no front desk. Instead, a staff member at the café next door acts as "reception" from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Poor accessibility – There’s no proper entrance; you have to climb stairs, and taxis can’t stop right outside the property.
Extremely small rooms – The room is tiny, even by Japanese standards. You can't fully open a suitcase on the floor.
No real windows – The only windows face the staircase and a very slow elevator. You can hear everyone passing by clearly.
Inconvenient power setup – Turning off the room lights also cuts power to the outlets, so you can't charge your phone unless you leave the lights on (except in the bathroom).
Basic bedding – Standard hostel-quality linens and pillows (cushions actually).
On the plus side, the room was clean and odor-free — but that should be the bare minimum for any hotel.
Overall, if you’re expecting hotel quality, you’ll likely be disappointed. You're paying for the location, not the experience."
"Perfect breakfast and nice staffs!
Much appreciated for the romantic decorations in our stayed room.
Perfect location for our visit, very convenient to transfer with bus, trains or subways."
"I emailed the hotel as my check in time 7am, that's why I booked extra day, the hotel confirmed by email. But when i checked in they cannot find my record, also i requested room close to elevator as i had many luggage, they put me at the last room at the end of corridor."
"We had very nice experience stayed in CS hotel. The guy who welcomed us is very warmly and helpful. He helps us to lug our big luggage up to 5th floor."
