Enjoy your stay at Hilltop Hideout of Helen, which is located directly above the famous Georgia Mountain Coaster inside of Helen, GA. This cozy chalet is the perfect destination spot for a family or friends looking for an Alpine Adventure in a Bavarian Themed Town in Appalachia OR if you are looking for a "flexcation," there is also an office space for working while still getting away! Appreciate the beautiful hilltop view on a large patio while indulging in nature and your favorite beverage. Take advantage of the multiple attractions, state parks, wineries, breweries, food, fishing, tubing, and family friendly activities. Don't forget to visit a few favorites: Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, Yonah Mountain, Cool River Tubing, Helen Waterpark, Alpine Mini Golf, Dukes Creek Mines, Woody's Mountain Bikes, Alpine Fun Factory, Hardman Farm State Historic Sight, Charlemagne's Kingdom, and more!

We own 5 chalets on the hill. The other 4 sleep 12. Message me if you would like to check availability on all 5. We have been a popular destination for family reunions and wedding parties.

Note, we named these Hilltop Hideout because they are located at the top of a hill. Walking to town is an option (my kids always choose it), but it is steep. Plan accordingly.

Beautiful, clean, great location

We loved the location, close to everything but still on a quiet street. The chalet was beautiful, with the perfect amount of space for us. It was very clean and stocked with all the things we needed. Karen was very responsive. We will definitely stay at one of her properties again!

Wedding weekend

Perfect place to stay for the wedding in near by Sanctuary Estates. Cabin was awesome spacious and very clean . Owner was extremely helpful. Will definitely book this one again

Great Getaway!

We had a fabulous time and loved this house! It was so clean, quiet and peaceful. You could walk to town if you wanted, but the way back would be quite an uphill hike, but we drove...only takes about a minute to drive. It was a nice surprise to see that they already had up all the Christmas lights when we got there, definitely a bonus! Everything about our stay was great! Would definitely recommend!

Family Sping break weekend

We absolutely loved the location of the house. Everything was a VERY short drive away from the house! Home was extremely clean and clearly well maintained. Communication was great with Karen with very timely responses. Also the Mulitgame arcade in the house was a huge plus for kids and me if im being honest lol. Definitely coming back!

Absolute best hidden gem

Some family and friends got together for a long overdue adventure and this was the perfect spot! Property manager was the absolute best with any questions asked! The property itself was excellent. Perfect house/ location

House was clean, new, and modern and still had Helen charm. Walkable to town. I enjoyed the hills walking back from town. May be a challenge for some. Has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed all of the board games, cards, and books.

Wonderful Location

The house was great; with a huge comfy back deck! It was in a great location close to the Germany Village. I will most definitely rent this place again or any other properties. Great Family Getaway

This was a great place to stay for our family vacation! Wonderful communication with the host, and the house was clean, bright, and had everything we needed (including games and books for the kids)! The hill that the house is on is very steep but it was no issue to drive down into town. Thank you Karen!

Great communication with Karen. House was perfect. The hill it sits on top of is STEEP! It is not ideal if you plan on drinking in town and walking back. Great location if you plan on driving everywhere.

Oktoberfest and Bratwurst

We came for Oktoberfest and it didn’t disappoint. Wow what a beautiful cabin! It’s more than a cabin, it’s home away from home. Clean, bright, and everything we needed. There’s nothing lacking about this property. Loved the back deck! It was fun listening to the kids on the mountain coaster scream as they went by lol. We floated the river and enjoyed so much Helen has to offer. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Surprise Charmer !

We pulled into the quaint town of Helen not knowing what to expect ! Found Yonah Mountain View easily and were so pleased with what we found! Beautifully decorated, light and airy, with a beautiful deck ,which sadly went unused as it rained our whole stay ! A beautiful upstairs primary bedroom along with another well appointed double bedroom. A lovely downstairs bedroom with a nice bathroom and convenient laundry. Our kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials, but with so many great restaurants in Helen we didn’t make much use of it ! Perfect location to all the town and surrounding areas have to offer! We needed more time in Helen to do everything so we will be back in touch with Karen soon to book her charming home again !
