This is a very nice home and well maintained. With a beautiful clear view of the mountains from the huge deck. I do recommend renting this property.

We enjoyed a great week, beautiful mountain views, fun golf, house had all the comforts of home. Be prepared to drive up winding roads to reach your destination! The area is convenient to falls and hiking, flea markets on the weekends, fabulous fresh produce market with the best corn!

Very comfortable and attractive house, plus what a lovely view of distant mountains and the valley 1300' below. Lots to do in the area - golf, some beautiful hikes, fun towns to explore. Even the weather was perfect! Thanks to Jody for thoughtful touches throughout the house and for her excellent communications. Must say, though, we are happy to leave those crazy, twisting mountain roads behind!!

Stunning views! This home was just what we needed. Nestled up in the clouds looking over the mountains of North Georgia. Very comfortable home & well equipped kitchen. We look forward to coming back. Located just a few minutes to Clayton, Dillard & Highlands.

We booked the home to relax on an extended weekend. Jody the owner was wonderful in communicating about the home and aurrounding area. Check-in was easy and we appreciated being able to park in tge garage. The home was clean and included everything you could possibly need. The view is stunning and sunsets are beautiful. We will definitely stay here again. True southern hospitality.

If you love a beautiful spacious home with fantastic views, a huge shower, a great Jacuzzi and beds that sleep like a dream, you will fall in love with this wonderful place. Our hostess, Jody, was amazing and attended to every detail. My husband and I will definitely return to this magical place that we both fell in love with.

The property is located on top of a mountain, so the view is amazing. In the morning you felt like you were above the clouds. It was so peaceful. Great space with everything you need. Owners were very helpful and told us places to eat and visit. I would definitely go back.

We love the property. It is big and spacious and the views out every window are stunning! We were snowed in and it added some interesting arrivals of family members. We enjoyed our stay during Christmas. Having a white Christmas was amazing! The owner is so gracious and accommodating.

Our stay was wonderful. The mountain home is beautiful. It is perched atop the mountain and is the sitting higher than any other home near it. The views are fantastic and the mornings greet you with the clouds below you in the valley and gradually rise up during the morning. The home was well equipped and the owner was very responsive and friendly. We got great directions to the home and were told to call her if we had any problem (which we didn't have any). It is a home that we will definitely stay in again.

I stayed at this property for a 4 day birthday weekend, and I couldn’t ask for a better birthday. The house had everything my family needed to prepare meals. It was very spacious and open with ample light coming in through the floor to ceiling windows. The view was to die for! My family and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony staring at the incredible view of the mountains as we sipped our coffee. It was so peaceful. Additionally, the beds were extremely comfortable, which was much appreciated after long days of hiking and sightseeing. As an added bonus, the owner, Jody, was a such a joy to work with. She provided very detailed instructions and made sure we lacked nothing. I could go on and on about how great this property is, but I’ll keep it short. I highly recommend staying here if you plan on taking a trip to the area. You will not be disappointed! I plan to book Jody’s property again for sure in the future, as it checks all the boxes!

Beautiful scenery— one of the best in the neighborhood. Quite a curvy steep drive in but not too bad once you are used to it. Lots of hiking and waterfalls nearby. Kitchen was well appointed. Back deck for meals- sunsets and sunrises is amazing

We had a wonderful, relaxing few days. The home was very clean, and had everything we needed. The host could not have been more helpful! Thank you, Jody! But it was the view that took our breath away. Amazing sunsets - absolutely fabulous! Our stress melted away with every breath of fresh mountain air. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful home with stunning views above Sky Valley, GA. If you like being on top of the mountain this is your place. Clayton and Highlands are a short drive if you need supplies or just want to get out. Kitchen is well equipped for the sandwich maker or the gourmet chef. A large deck and loft area provided quiet space if needed. Owners were super easy to work with and stayed in touch to make sure we were happy. We look forward to returning !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We have stayed in many houses rented through VRBO but have never experienced anything quite so gorgeous and well equipped! Truly appreciated the use of the garage making level entry possible. The view from the deck is like no other morning to night! Jody was wonderful to work with and very attentive! Thank you! This was everything advertised and more! You open the front door and your met with big windows looking out at an amazing view of the mountains and a beautiful large deck. The house itself is beautifully decorated and very clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the morning with our coffee and we were looking down on the clouds below us in the valley. The owner was great to work with and made sure everything went smoothly. We defintely plan to try and visit again!

My wife and I stayed at "Happy Ours" for a long weekend and loved every moment. The house was clean and everything worked as expected. A few things I feel like prospective renters should know... The first time you drive to the house, it seems like FOREVER to get there after turning off the Dillard Road. Our experience was that the drive seemed much shorter each time we drove it after that. (I adjusted to driving on the twisting mountain roads pretty quickly.) For trips to "town" it's a shorter and easier drive to go to Dillard vs going to Highlands. I can't speak to the quality of the other beds, but the bed in the Master BR was very comfortable. Mountain Fresh Market in Highlands is a great place for a few supplies or an entire meal. (We had the pizza which was outstanding.) We enjoyed sitting on the deck just before and for a while after sunset - even on a cloudy day. Pictures simply can't capture the beauty accurately. Don't forget your Bluetooth speaker for a little mood music. If you’re a golfer, I recommend Sky Valley CC. It’s right there in the neighborhood, and I found it to be a beautiful course that wasn’t too difficult.
