Staff was friendly at check in. There was the option for a made to order hot breakfast (fill out paper slip where you pick 2 of handful of options) never seen this done before and it was nice. I enjoyed 2 eggs scrambled and 2 sausage patties. Also had some continental breakfast options. The chef doing breakfast was quick, efficient and hard working. Stayed the 1 night. I enjoyed the hot tub, it was Super toasty warm too. The room itself was fairly average sized. Did not enjoy the very small bathroom with small sink and tiny counter outside the bathroom itself and literally just inside the door to the room and it felt sketchy. Like standing there felt almost exposed and vulnerable. The toilet and tub were crammed in the tiny bathroom and hardly any floor space. Hotel and rooms could use an upgrade. The main floor level hallway has some stairs mid hallway, so dragging huge suitcases up it was not lovely when you’ve had a long tiring drive. The noise from passing cars was louder than I would have liked. Again, an old building. But the random sounds kept waking me up and freaking me out, as I was travelling alone. Liked that there was a mini fridge. Looked around the room and didn’t see a book/binder or print out in room of the hotel info to find the hours of the hot tub. Luckily when I walked down the hall to investigate the hot tub it was open fairly late which was a bonus
