「This is a great place to stay if you are looking to be away from city lights so you can try to see the Northern Lights. We were fortunate they were visible on our night here and it was a highlight of our trip. The staff is friendly, but they are not available at all times. Our shower was stopped up, but there is no staff late at night so we had to wait until morning for it to be fixed. They took care of it right away then, so it's just a matter of expectations. Overall, I would stay here...

「This hotel is the perfect location to explore the Snæfellsnes peninsula. The visitor center is a short walk away and the village is pleasant to walk through, especially Love Street by the water. The rooms are exactly what we were looking for: a place to sleep and stash gear while we explored. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. Where this hotel excels is the service! Friendly and helpful.」

「The room is pretty clean, (Spotless) it has nice kitchen Amenity. Three Coffee Pots (which is excellent). I only drink instant coffee and I need a bigger pot for making my instant Caramel Macchiato coffee. We only used the room for one night to rest (For Kirkjufell waterfalls and Aurora Borealis Photography) The room is sufficient enough for one night.」

「Self service check it. The theme of Aurora rooms a a bit scary But I booked family room and it looks like a recently renovated place and it is okay. Clean and tidy, the shared kitchen is lacking lights and a bit dark, the common area is really a gem of this guest house, has the mojo of youth hostel. 」
