“Absolutely beautiful home. I felt like I was going back in time. I spent Thanksgiving night there and did not encounter another living soul during my visit. Walking through the house was an undescribable feeling, as if I both did and did not belong there (yes a was a guest --but in the wrong century!). Time travel. VERY cool. the most modern technology downstairs was a turntable. Loved the antiques and the bed that you needed a stool to climb up on. Also every detail, from the newspapers talking……

Would've appreciated some cleaning attention to the windows and screens so we could've taken full advantage of the view. I know that upkeep of the place must be all-comsuming. The host was quite welcoming and attentive.……
