Gorgeous Hotel!

This hotel is GORGEOUS! Eveything is clean, the staff is friendly, and the beds are insanely comfortable! We went to ski and were not disappointed! Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel in the ski resort. Beautifully decorated rooms, amazing outdoor space, views are great. Continental breakfast was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay

We had really good stay at the hotel! The service was good, room cozy and the food excellent! Extra bonus foe the spa and outdoor jacuzzi. It was extra convenient to ski our and it into the hotel, Hemsedal slopes were great! Definitely coming back!

Amazing hotel and staff. Easy ski in&out, very convenient on the slopes. Great view from rooms. SPA and especially sessions with Hannah was a real treat. Very good pizza and food. Highly recommend. Only fall back is you need a taxi to come back from apres-ski and if you dine in the town.

Gorgeous view and exceptional comfort

Everything was exceptional. Never slept in a more softer bed than here and had the best nights sleep with a gorgeous view! Would be nice with a little bit more warm options (vegetarian for example) during breakfast, but otherwise very nice as well!

Prefect mountain views

Incredible views, better if you get a room looking into the valley. If you get a room with a tub, you'll have to take a big step to get in. Great food with an international staff. If your planning to ski, rent them from the hotel.

101% - just what I needed

I stayed at many hotels - Good times, Bad times... you know Ive had my share... This was a true pleasure from start to finish. You get "all smiles A+ service, all the way" from a young crew who is on their tip of their toes to help - 24/7 (I tested just that). Hotel facilities in the high end, view = perfect, SPA = excellent, food and drinkz = spot on. 101% excellent review from my side. See you in 340 days ladies and gents :)

Wonderful stay

Skarsnuten is an amazing place. Staff was incredible since before check-in, very helpful and professional. The facilities on the hotel are superb, very clean and new. Breakfast is also amazing, everything was very tasty and well prepared. We have booked spa on the stay and we do ‘t regret. It was very relaxing and a amazing experience!! It is very convenient to use the skibus (free of charge) that operates daily and picks you up / drops you off in front of the hotel. Skistar has more details about it and also staff on the hotel explained us every detail of all the activities. The gym is also great - equipment looks like brand new. Also, our view on the room was out of this world, to the mountains. It was a never tiring sight, looking to these beautiful landscape. We could feel the presence of the creator, our mighty God, Jesus. We are still amazed with such structure and hospitality!! Thank you Skarsnuten team, we will remember these days forever!!!

Shame about the staff training

Amazing hotel, very badly let down by the staff. There is absolutely no attention to detail. They are all lovely but they tell you as little as possible unless you ask. No offer of ski lockers, ski passes, spa info etc. Dining room has amazing views but again no attention to detail. Eg.. ordered a dessert for sharing & it arrived with no plates, no cutlery. You have to ask for absolutely everything which I wouldn’t mind if I was in a low budget accommodation which this is not. I would stay again purely for the ski in ski out access and views.

Very bad first impression

The staff was helpful with a reservation for a dinner but completely failed when I asked for a breakfast to go as we had to leave at 7:30 AM and the breakfast buffet was not open yet. I got an excuse that the chef was late for work and couldn’t prepare anything… apart from that the hotel didn’t upgrade us even though I’m a gold member and there was availability.

Mooi, modern hotel. Interieur warm en sfeervol. Mooie grote kamer met 2 fauteuils grote tv, koffiezetapparaat en minibar. Alleen jammer dat er geen horren voor de ramen zaten. Een mooie, ruime badkamer met dikke handdoeken. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Het restaurant heeft een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht over Hemsedal en omliggende bergen. In het restaurant gegeten, eten was prijzig maar erg lekker. Het enige negatieve is dat we bijna een uur moesten wachten op ons hoofdgerecht terwijl er maar een paar tafels bezet waren. Dat duurde echt veel te lang. Ook geen excuses of vooraf melden dat het lang zou duren. Dat kan echt beter. Negatief punt is dat je moet betalen om te parkeren bij het hotel.
