"Incredible place to stay! Only a short walk from the core of old town this beautiful property is owned by an incredibly kind and helpful gentleman Dom! I was lucky enough to spend some time and get to know him a bit. He helped me with booking travel and different activities within the city as well! Very clean room, the staff was very attentive to cleaning and ensuring my stay was great, location in my opinion was perfect. A short walk to everything you need and it was incredibly comfortable"

"Amenities and rooms are new. However, the pool was overcrowded with China locals and their kids, making the sauna and steam room a mess. Breakfast buffet with also crowded with China locals and rowdy."

"The family suite was an absolute dream for us. The view was breathtaking, and having two separate rooms provided both comfort and privacy, it is very ideal for parents and kids to sleep separately like our family. We also loved their attention to cleanliness. The towels and slippers were stored in sanitizing cabinets that use UV light to disinfect them. They provided delicious welcome fruits and snacks and continued providing it everyday The food was simply amazing, everything was prepared with the freshest ingredients and was incredibly delicious. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for dinner, our breakfast was included. The biggest highlight was the staff. They truly treat us like family, and they make every guest feel right at home. We were especially touched when they offered to wash all of our clothes, even though we didn’t return to the hotel until 8 to 9 pm. They washed everything for us and dried then folded the clothes, which was thoughtful and unexpected. Their warmth in the hospitality made our stay unforgettable. This is 120% recommended, a stay we will remember for many years to come"

"It’s a beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. The location of the hotel cannot be better especially for people with luggage’s as it’s right at the edge of the ancient town so we don’t need to drag our luggage on narrow cobblestone roads in town. We went to eat inside the ancient town almost every day. The hotel consists of individual old-style houses which are very private yet inside is new and tastefully decorated. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful with all we needed particularly on booking snow mountain tickets on WeChat. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the evening show at Mu Mansion in ancient town."

"It was such a heart warning stay. Loved the host and family’s reception and kindness. The location is perfect, away from the noisy part of the town and yet, on the most beautiful back street, with creek and stone bridge right in the front. Will certainly come back next time in Lijiang."
