The Mirabello is a small family-run hotel. They work hard and with pride. Rooms are immaculate and it is in a very quiet area in old town with two excellent local-folk family tavernas just a few steps away and around the corner. A very budget friendly and safe place to stay in the heart of old town Heraklion.

The room was clean, air-conditioned, and had a quite a big and comfortable bed. Great location too, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had to check out a bit later than the regular time and was not charged extra. The bathroom was small, but that was a minor issue. Will come back if I visit Heraklion again!

The location was excellent - within walking distance to bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The sea front was very close, as were the main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and cofree making facilities provided. My friend and I stayed here for a week — overall, it was alright. The location is definitely the highlight, very close to the city centre and within walking distance of all kinds of transport, which made getting around super easy. The room itself was decently clean, but unfortunately the towels and sheets were dirty and stained, which wasn’t great. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. Decent for the price, but could use some improvements.
