The staff was nice and helpful when we asked questions. The issues we had were with the facility. The room was so small that we had to open our suitcases on the bed since there was no room on the floor. There is an old rug on the floor. It could have been clean, but it always brings up questions of cleanliness for me when I see aged wall to wall carpeting. The toilet area was so small that my husband could not close the door without it hitting his knees. The toilet and the shower are separate. It was inexpensive. That was the best part of the experience

A small local property run by a very nice man. The room and overall property is what you would expect for 2 stars - older, a bit quaint, nothing fancy at all, but clean and comfortable beds. The owner was very helpful and offered good recommendations for food and sites to visit. A five minute walk to the beach (Sword beach) and directly on D-514 (the road to follow to see nearly all the D-Day sites). Between towns, so no easy walk to restaurants, but the hotel offers breakfast. I'd stay here again.
