We had a lovely week at the Abaton. All the staff were really friendly and helpful particularly when on departure I discovered I had left my straighteners in the room. The staff went above and beyond to locate them…which they did. We did half board which was really handy and the restaurants and food was amazing and in a beautiful setting. The hotel is in a great location and if you don’t fancy the pool there was plenty of beds on the beach. All in all a very restful week and the weather was gorgeous!

This property was absolutely gorgeous and perfectly placed. Easy 15-20 min walk to the downtown area. We enjoyed relaxing at the hotel, the beach was gorgeous and warm, the pool temp was perfectly maintained, the rooms were great! When we wanted to experience a more lively atmosphere we took a walk downtown and enjoyed the nightlife

So luxurious, loved the two floor suites with pool and ocean view. Although large it never felt too busy at anytime . Tried all the restaurants. The staff there excelled. My favorite was Claudia. She made our dinner at Buddha bar so special, her attention to detail, we had some food allergies, went beyond good service and went to great! We both said we could come back next year and bring some friends.

An Amazing Stay from Start to Finish! Abaton was absolutely amazing. The resort has beautiful views, great common areas, and everything you need for a perfect stay. The rooms are spacious, modern, and spotless, with a huge balcony and an incredible view. The room layout isn't the best, but everything else more than made up for it. The dining was a highlight. Buddha-Bar Beach has a great selection of delicious food and drinks — the sushi is spectacular. Bony Fish restaurant was also very good, and the breakfast buffet has an incredible selection to start the day. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had an amazing time and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

This is a fabulous 5* gem, and we had a great time. Positives: Stunning hotel, extremely cleanl, lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds and showers, lovely happy friendly staff. A hotel with great ambience, luxury all neatly bundled up into a lovely package and we'll be back again soon. Also so quiet, even though the hotel was not empty. Negatives - 5 restaurants, unchanging menu, even in the main buffet restaurant, so choices were lacking by the end. Rooms were not serviced if you missed the early morning rounds. Having returned to our rooms in the afternoon/evening, our room would not have been cleaned - this didn't phase us that much. Overall: We visited end of September (after school holiday period) when the weather was turned cooler and windier. The pool was too cold to enjoy and was avoided by most guests. A regulated pool would be much better. Same for the bedroom pools - we didnt use ours as the water was on par to having an ice-dip. This was the same for many of the other rooms we could see.
