This is a lovely house. Its in a very quiet location a short drive from the main road and a more touristy area. The small town its in has a small shop and 3 restaurants- one in particular is amazing!It has a full kitchen, two large bedrooms and huge outdoor space.The owners are super helpful too

Eine schöne Woche auf Kreta

Das Haus und die Umgebung haben uns sehr gut gefallen, der Aussenbereich lässt nicht‘s zu wünschen übrig. Alles was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt braucht ist vorhanden.Das einzige was uns ein bisschen gefehlt hat, ist eine Klimaanlage , aber die Ventilatoren haben auch geholfen das Haus zu kühlen….. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Property has almost everything you need and is in a lovely quiet location. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. We had a wonderful two weeks here. Some minor issues which were quickly resolved by Ash without any fuss. When I say “almost everything you need” this only applies to our particular stay which fell during some particularly HOT weather, 44 degrees at one point. Despite the provision of fans and keeping the property sealed during the day to keep cool, it was difficult to sleep on a few nights. The option to pay extra for some air conditioning would have been welcomed. This said we booked it knowing there was no air con so this is not a criticism just something Ash and his brothers may wish to consider for the future. We would happily come back again. Thank you for all your help.

Schöner Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung

Das Haus hat eine geniale Lage außerhalb des Dorfes. Das Dorf kann man aber sehr gut fußläufig erreichen. Sehr schönes Haus. Sehr schöner Pool. Der Besitzer war für Rückfragen immer erreichbar. Zusammengefasst: Einsehr schöner und erholsamer Urlaub.

Just right

The property was well equiped, spacious and just right. Lovely views. The pool was well maintained and big enough. It is deeper than many, but ideal for adults. A short walk, uphill unfortunately, but downhill after the night out, to the village. With 2 excellent restaurants. A small shop, a bakery and very friendly people. We were sad to leave. Owner extremely helpful and informative at all points.

Schöne Villa mit Pool

Die Villa liegt ruhig am Dorfrand und wir waren vollkommen allein da. Sie hat einen herrlichen Pool welcher auch bei Nacht farblich beleutet wird. Die Villa ist sehr groß und bietet alles was benötigt wird incl. Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, WLAN, einen Grill und weiteres. Zum Vermieter Tony hatten wir ebenfalls einen sehr guten, freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Kontakt. Wir haben uns dort 14 Tage sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

Une maison agréable

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la villa. L'équipement, notamment en cuisine, est très complet. La piscine et la terrasse sont très agréables pour se rafraîchir. Nous avons toutefois eu un peu chaud dans les chambres. Un bilan très positif.

Villa Clarriss

Stayed at Villa Clarriss in September 2022. Our party was made up of two couples. We had a fab stay and the villa was perfect for the four of us and very well equipped. We appreciated the pool on the hot days and the bbq one evening but as it was so close to the town of Gouves we ate out most days. It was definitely worth renting a car for trips out and shopping but we did walk into the town on a few occasions. Would definitely return to this villa when we visit Crete again.

Wonderful, Private and lovely.

What hits you first is the steep drive up to the villa, but this disappears after a couple of times up and down. You do need transport a car or scooter whatever you prefer any of the hire companies will deliver a vehicle to the villa car or prearrange it at the airport. The villa is spacious bedrooms are a good size with lovely views from both balconies. The kitchen has everything you require dish washer, washing machine, etc etc. They have a lovely pool area and a small barbie on the other hand Spiros who owns a restaurant in the village will come and pick you up and return you back again which is really great. Finally there's a lovely seating area outside near the pool where you can sit in the shade as it gets really hot during the day. Loved our 4 week stay immensely and please take mozzie repellent with you it's a bit costly in the Greek chemists.

Schöner Urlaub in schöner Villa!

Wir waren zum dritten Mal auf Kreta und hatten für dieses Jahr eigentlich 2 Wochen im Süden geplant. Aufgrund eines Buchungsfehlers meinerseits stand dann die dortige Villa nur noch für eine Woche zur Verfügung und somit haben wir für die zweite Woche eine Alternative gesucht und gefunden! Zwar ist der Süden der Insel einsamer, entspannter und ruhiger, allerdings für unsere Kinder auch etwas langweiliger. Von daher war der Umzug in die Villa Clarris perfekt. Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb des Ortes in der Altstadt von Gouves. Somit hat man seine Privatspähre und kann sich auch einmal nackt in die Sonne legen. Trotzdem ist man in 5 Minuten im Ort, wo es ein paar Tavernen gibt, die allesamt sehr lecker sind. Direkt an der Ecke zur Zufahrtsstraße zur Villa liegt Spyros Taverna. Der dortige Wirt steht einem bei allen Fragen zur Verfügung und hat uns sofort herzlich begrüßt. Da Mittwochs, Freitags und Samstags Livemusik ist, war das Lokal leider ausgebucht und wir hatten nicht reserviert. Als allerdings Tonys Name fiel, hat er sofort noch einen Tisch herbeigezaubert. Wir hatten den gesamten Urlaub einen Mietwagen, und der bietet sich auch hier im Norden an, wenn man nicht nur sehr eingeschränkt unterwegs sein und auch mehr von dieser schönen Insel sehen möchte. In 30 Minuten kann man allerdings auch an die Strandpromenade von Kato Gouves laufen, die uns allerdings nicht so angesprochen hat. Die Kinder hingegen waren froh über die Geschäfte und Souvenirläden im Ort! :-) Die Villa selbst bietet alles was man braucht. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Ferienhäusern finden sich hier auch übrig gebliebene Lebensmittel der Vormieter, so das niemand Angst haben muss das etwas fehlt: Salz, Pfeffer, unterschiedlichste Gewürze, Öl, Essig, Kaffee, Filter, Nudeln, Kaba, Tee, usw. ist vorhanden. Es gibt Kühltaschen, Kühlakkus und, wichtig, eine Waschmaschine, so dass man auch die mitgebrachten Kleidungsstücke reduzieren kann,- vor allem mit Kindern sehr erleichternd. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß, 2 Meter tief und abends toll beleuchtet. Vor allem die Kinder, aber auch wir, haben es genossen, abends nach Hause zu kommen und noch einmal in den Pool zu springen. Mit Tony hatten wir einen sehr netten E-Mail-Kontakt und können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten in dieser Villa eine tolle Zeit. Ein kleiner abgezäunter Hof - sicher zum spielen für die Kids. Der Pool zum Baden, zum Vögelbeobachten und auch nachts mit Lichtspielen eine Freude. Im Haus alles drin - was man so braucht für einen Urlaub in diesem Sonnenland und was nicht in den Koffer passt (Kühlboxen, Kühlakkus, Waschmittel, Spüli, Verbandszeug,....). Nur die Küche haben wir kaum ausprobiert - das Essen und die Gastfreundschaft bei Spyros Taverne (fußläufig - schon wegen dem Raki...) war ein Erlebnis ;)

Séjour idéal

Légèrement excentrée du village située à une centaine de mètres seulement, au milieu des oliviers, avec une belle vue, et tout le confort nécessaire. Près de toutes les commodités (véhicule nécessaire), et à seulement 15 mn de l'aéroport, et à 5mn des plages. Idéal pour un séjour au calme, et Tony est d'une grande disponibilité .

Great Villa

Despite all the ongoing issues with Covid we a have been kept updated regularly by the owner Tony which proved reassuring during all the uncertainty. We have visited this Villa twice previously and were not disappointed on our return this year. The villa was very clean and provides a great off the beaten track base to enjoy Crete. The village of Gouves is within easy walking distance and if your driving there are lots of places nearby to visit. The villa is a good size and the pool and surrounding area is ideal for just chilling out in the sun.

Unser Kreta Urlaub in der Villa Clarris

Die Villa ist sehr gut Ausgestatten und geräumig. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig etwas entfernt vom Dörfchen die Aussicht ist Top. Unsere Ansprechpartner waren alle sehr freundlich ( Bademeister Alex ). Tony hat sich sehr um uns bemüht um uns denn Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Danke für alles wir werden gerne wieder kommen P.S. Der Pool war für die Kinder das Highlight

Traumhafter Urlaub

Unser erster Urlaub auf Kreta und es war alles perfekt. Die Villa hat eine sehr schöne und ruhige Lage mit Meerblick zur eine und Dorf.- Bergblick zur anderen Seite. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Der dazugehörige Pool mit einer Tiefe von zwei Metern rundet alles ab. Es wird einen in der Beschreibung nicht zu viel versprochen. Haben hier zwei wunderschöne Wochen verbracht. Wir hatten auch Glück, bei unserer Ankunft den Vermieter Tony noch persönlich kennenzulernen. Dieser ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Vermieter der zu jeder Zeit, obwohl er in England wohnt, über Handy, Mail oder SMS erreichbar ist, falls irgendwelche Probleme oder Fragen auftreten. Wir können die Unterkunft und den Vermieter nur weiterempfehlen. Danke nochmals an Tony für diese zwei unvergesslich schönen Urlaubswoche auf Kreta und in der Villa Clarris.
