Set back on the main road the beach is about 8/10 minute walk. There’s a bakery 2 minutes away and more shops 3/4 minutes. The kitchen area has a microwave, grill and 2 ring cooker, utensils and crockery. The room is a decent size with TV and hair dryer, the bathroom is small but adequate. Cleaned daily with fresh towels, bed linen changed twice in week. The area around the building has various fruit trees and very clean, the pool gets the sun all day with comfortable loungers and is cleaned every evening. Regarding disability, the apartments are very accessible, with helpful staff always available. There’s a secure pagoda with plugs for charging mobility aids eg: scooter or wheelchair. Perfect holiday apartments well situated to enjoy your holiday with bus stops outside and short a walking distance (5mins) to the first of many excellent restaurants and bars in the resort.

Had a lovely late summer break at La Luna, the apartments are well situated just a 10 minute walk to the lovely beach and main shopping area. Stalis has something for everyone. The apartments were very clean, beds changed twice and clean towels 4 times during a week stay. Reasonably priced meals/snacks available. The well stocked bar served only original drinks again at good prices. The pool has sun all day with plenty comfortable beds. All the staff and family strive to ensure you enjoy your stay. Highly recommend.

Apart from the first night we had a nice room with a sea view from the balcony at the side/front and we also had a patio area behind the apartment. The nearest beach was about half a mile from the apartment but was quite small and mostly covered by sunbeds. The hotel reception and bar were closed towards the end of our holiday (mid-October) but there were still late bars open in Stalis within a mile or so.

Hôtel à taille humaine, confortable et chaleureux

Hôtel/appartements à l'écart de l'agitation de la route de la plage. A taille humaine, avec une famille formidablement accueillante, chaleureuse et soucieuse du bon déroulement de votre séjour. A à peine 5/10 minutes de la plage à pied, cet endroit offre tranquillité et fraîcheur (situé en hauteur par rapport au niveau de la plage). Piscine agréable et propre, appartement confortable (la literie notamment) et bien aménagé. Cet établissement a une clientèle avant tout britannique, d'habitués, pour autant vous en ferez vite partie! La Luna c'est comme une grande famille!

First day we got accommodated in another hotel due to, there was no apartment available. The next day we got information, that Expedia keep offering accommodation even when the hotel is already full. I consider this as lack of communication between Expedia and La Luna Hotel. Also, when I wrote a mail and asked for confirmation I did not receive a reply from the hotel. If you look at trip advisor web site, you will find more such comments like this, people also had to stay first days in another hotel.

Siamo stati accolti gentilmente. Il fastidio si è verificato quando, dopo aver fatto il check in, il personale ci ha accompagnato in un altra struttura a 2 km di distanza in cui non era presente la piscina e il Wifi. Siamo rimasti sorpresi per il fatto di non aver trovato le condizioni per le quali avevamo scelto questo hotel. Nonostante questo la camera era spaziosa. Bagno grande. La cucina poco attrezzata e impossibilità di preparare un pasto. Zona tranquilla. Comoda per raggiungere Malia ed Hersonissos.

Vacanza a Creta

Abbiamo deciso di recarci a Creta in 4 (2 coppie). Creta è il posto ideale per questo tipo di vacanza, all'insegna del relax e del mare bello. Abbiamo prenotato alla Luna. I gestori sono carinissimi e disponibilissimi, abbiamo avuto dei problemi tecnici con l'aria condizionata, ma loro si sono subito mossi per risolverli. Unico neo: l'acqua calda! Utilizano i Pannelli solari e la doccia, fatta dopo le 21, è sempre piuttosto fredda.
