Stinkendes Hotel

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht, dies war wirklich eine schöne Aussicht. Jedoch das Zimmer war sehr heruntergekommen und dreckig, dazu stank es noch sehr stark nach einem Chemiemittel das wir uns fast übergeben mussten! Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr sehr schlimm, man konnte nichts essen, das Brot war hart der Kaffe und Organgensaft extrem Künstlich (hatte den gleichen Geschmak wie unser Zimmer). Ich bin wirklich nicht heikel, aber das Hotel ist wirklich nur für einen Kurztripp oder Partyurlaub geeignet!

Hotel has a specific charm it is overlooking the sea and nightlife, right next to the police station and is very centralized. Short walk west to some better beaches. Location makes for great people watching. It’s location on the main strip which has most of the restaurants and bars attracts a lot of young people to the area as well so it can be loud late into the night especially if you have a sea facing room. The rooms are basic and a bit dated but have authentic charm which is what I was looking for. The bathrooms need an upgrade badly and despite asking multiple times for an iron we were told that the two they had were loaned out and we never managed to get one. Other than that the staff were always helpful and accommodating.

Das Hotel lag mir zentral, von dort aus konnte ich Bekannten und Freunden in Süden, Westen, Osten, überall besuchen, sehr praktisch!

Great Location

This is a lovely hotel, from the warm welcome we received and the great views from an upper front room. Very clean and friendly place although a little old in some parts. Only warm ..just..water in the evening was a litlle disappointing. The only real negative would be the meals. They were presented so well and plenty of choice, however the hot foods were barely warm. This was at breakfast each day and we had one dinner as well..a real shame. Overall though I would return as the hotel still offers so much.

excellent budget hotel experience

The hotel staff was incredibly helpful with excellent English and fluency in other languages. The 5 Euro breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold offerings with lots of sweets. We did not know about the 10 Euro dinner buffet when we booked. we stayed for 10 days total and ate there twice - Hands down the best tziziki and dolmades in Herinossos! The beds were hard and there were very few television stations but the location was excellent for restaurants and shopping and bus tours around Crete. I highly recommend for those interested in having a pleasant stay on a budget.

Prima hotel op perfecte locatie. Hotel misschien beetje gedateerd maar de ligging maakt dat meer dan goed. Ontbijt had niet erg veel variatie maar was in orde. Schoonmaaksters deden hun werk soms iets te goed door lege flessen/zakjes weg te gooien die wij later nog nodig hadden. Al met al een fijn verblijf gehad.

Bad experience

Chambre mytheuse, froide et austère! Sentiment de dormir dans un couvent... Balcon minuscule, vue sur mer accompagné d'un doux fumet de mouton grillé provenant du restaurant au-dessous! Photos sur-évaluées frôlant le mensonge ! "Plage" inexistante, 2mètres entre le mur et la mer, empilés les uns sur les autres, entre 2 resto, rien de tranquil, à noter que les ruelles méga animées (musique, touristes, restaurants, magasins et vendeurs en tout genre...) se situent juste au dessus du tas de sable appelé "beach"et devant l'hotel donc sous le balcon... Hotel tout coincé au niveau de l emplacement, serré entre les ruelles animées (musique, touristes, restaurants, magasins et vendeurs en tout genre...), la "plage", le restaurant sur la "plage", le poste de police,...,... Nos vacances se présentant davantage stressante que reposante, et fatigués du voyage, nous avons directement réservé, malgré une connexion wifi pourrie!, une chambre dans un autre hôtel (Yianna Caravel, superbe Hotel que je recommande!) à environ 15min de Heraklion, puis nous nous sommes écroulés de tristesse, déceptions, stress et fatigue et avons dormi non stop jusqu'au lendemain avant de quitter prématurément l'hôtel et tous ces faux rêves! Notons tout de même que le Monsieur de l'accueil s'est intéressé aux choses qui nous ont déplues...

Great location. Many other things need improvement

PROS - Location as good as it gets. Everything within walking distance: beach 20 meters, main street 50m, bus stop (from where you can get on buses pretty much to everywhere) 80-100 m, supermarket 150m, all sorts of cafés, restaurants, bakeries, stores literally everywhere around, even police station across the street 5m :) and laundry 15m. Nice balconies in all (or almost all) rooms. Some face the sea, some face hotel's own garden, which by the way is a pleasant place to have breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful - I got good information every time I asked about anything. CONS - Facilities need renovation / replacement. Some rooms are very small. Kept very clean, but toiletries, towels not changed every day. No beach towels, while room towels not allowed to take to beach. Breakfast OK, could've been better. TV channels choice very limited - like 6 channels. Wifi in the room OK, but drops time to time and bad to none in balcony. Safe boxes located at reception and you need to pay if you want to use one.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Das Hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer könnten durchaus etwas wohnlicher gestaltet sein, aber das freundliche und bemühte Personal sowie die zentrale Lage (direkt an der lebhaften Strandpromenade, 1 Minute zum Kiesstrand, nahe der Einkaufsstraße, 5 Minuten zum Bus) schaffen einen guten Ausgleich. Das Essen ist ebenfalls recht gut, könnte aber etwas Auffrischung und Abwechslung vertragen. Der Wifi-Empfang (kostenlos!) war in unserem Fall konstant gut. Die Zimmer zum Innenhof sind schön ruhig im Gegensatz zu den Zimmern Richtung Strandpronenade, obwohl das Haus ansich schon recht hellhörig ist. Wer keine zu hohen Erwartungen an die Zimmerausstattung und die Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten (z.B. TV-Programm) hat, kann hier durchaus einen angenehmen Urlaub zum entsprechenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis verbringen.

Enkelt hotell sentralt i Hernassos

Et hotell som bærer preg av å være noen år, men som er helt greit for noen dager. Sengene kan oppleves som harde, men det er jo ofte sengene i Hellas. Ok mat i restauranten, men ikke det utvalget man ofte får på større hotell. Beliggenheten kan ikke bli bedre i Hernassos, hvis man vil bo i byen, like ved strandpromenaden. Strandforholdende var ikke de beste, men det gikk fint an å ta en dukkert. De som velger dette hotellet får en helt gjennomsnittlig opplevelse, men får det helt greit.

The best location in Hersonicos, in front of the beach and main road, close to the bars but also quiet, clean and big rooms, friendly staff, breakfast location is great, in a yard under the trees. Will visit again soon!

petit hotel au bord de l'eau; plage en traversant la rue pietonne;2euros /jour pour le transat +parasol eau chaude à volonté, bière servie a laplge 2 euros; la pizza 6 euros: elle est pas belle la vie? c'est pas du 4 étoiles, mais c'est propre et si vous réservé une chambre avec balcon et vue sur la mer vous serez le roi; l'hotel est situé dans une station balnéaire donc shopping pour madame, restos et bars à volonté; pas besoin de louer une voiture (60 euros /jour en Août) inscrivez vous à des escursions à l'agence toute proche de l'hotel; vous aurez le guide , le repas dans un resto typique,pas le soucis du parking, du risque d'accidents (conduisent comme des fous!) etc moi j'y reviendrai

Ideal für Strandurlaub

Bei der Ankunft war die Sauberkeit der Zimmer enttäuschend. Aber das Personal ist sehr bemüht, die Gästen zufrieden zu stellen. Daher wurde das Zimmer gründlich gesäubert, und so waren wir zufrieden.
