THE GITE OF THE PRESBYTERE

You will stay in the longère next to the 18th century presbytery.
Nestled in the heart of a small charming and peaceful village, you reach Bergues and its ramparts in 10 minutes, Cassel and its famous museum of Flanders in 15 min, Ypres in 40 'and Bruges (the little Belgian Venice) in 1 h.
Close to the French and Belgian coast, it will take you 20 minutes to get there.
The cottage has 1 room for 2 people with the possibility of adding 2 extra beds in the same room. .
Large bathroom with shower and sink.
Living room with sofa, dining area for 4 people + equipped kitchenette.
At discretion, coffee and tea capsules.
Consumable products available (toilet paper, paper towels, washing up liquid, cleaning product, garbage bags, kleenex, shower gel.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche bei Sabine, welche uns zu jeder Zeit mit sehr schönen Ausflugstips versorgte. Die Wohnung enspricht genau dem Angebot und den Bildern, sie ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, der Garten herrlich zum Entspannen. Toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, wir kommen sicherlich wieder. We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay.

La propriétaire de ce gîte est exceptionnelle. Toutes les adresses qu'elle m'a conseillé nous ont permis de passer un weekend formidable ❤️ Une fois que vous rentrez de l'espace qui vous est complètement dédié, c'est comme si vous entriez dans un havre de paix. Le jardin est apaisant, très bien entretenu, décoré avec goût et tous les équipements sont propices à la détente et au confort. En ce qui concerne le logement en lui même, tout y est, vous n'avez besoin de penser à rien. La décoration est sobre et élégante. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer ❤️

We were looking to find a nice little village to stay in with easy access to northern France and Belgium. What we found was a great Gite with a wonderful host who was very attentive to our needs and made us feel quite at home. The Gite had plenty of room for us, everything we needed (we found not having a TV was in fact a bonus), and a lovely garden to relax in. Sabine gave us helpful advice on what to visit, how best to get there and assisted us across the language barriers (she speaks English much better than we speak French!). We loved our stay and could not have asked for a better combination of location, comfort and host.
