This is our third stay and we’re hope to be back. The river setting is absolutely incredible. You can do a little float trip or just explore the river, it’s a little nature paradise.

Wonderful cabin on the river! We had a great stay and the host and property were both excellent. We loved being right on the river and enjoyed a campfire with the sounds of the water. The cabin was comfortable and clean.

Always an Amazing getaway

We love being right on the white river! The sounds of the rippling water, the floaters and kayakers streaming by, the cabin has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We've been utilizing this cabin for 13 years now! The first for our honeymoon and now for our 13th anniversary! Host is always available, check in process is easy, atmosphere is calm, relaxing and fun!!

Beautiful riverfront peoperty

This place was right on the river and had everything we need. We will be back next year around the same time! Host was very nice and very quick to respond. Place was clean. River was clean and fun to float in.

Cute cabin on scenic river

A truly special spot, located right on a bend in the river with no other houses in view. We lounged in the river and had a great time. We absolutely loved it and hope to visit again soon!

Great for relaxing and fishing!

We came up from Louisiana to meet family in Michigan for salmon fishing. The cottage was perfect and the location on the river was ideal for fishing. We'll be back!

Weekend Fishing Trip

Wonderful property right on the White River with all the amenities of home. We had a great weekend and are hoping to come back next fall. Property owner was very responsive and made the booking and check in easy.

Home away from Home

This was our third time renting this wonderful and well equipped cabin on the river. We enjoy the location and river access and the fun activities the cabin offers. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into offering an entertaining place to spend with family. Caution, GPS struggles to find it. GPS either takes you to wrong driveway and once you do get to the correct street it stops short of getting you all the way to the right drive.

Amazing place to relax and recover

The cabin was very clean and had all the comforts of home. Cell phone signal was spotty, which is perfect for a northern Michigan getaway. I came to relax and get away from the noise of the city, and this property definitely delivered. Hesperia and the White River are places of peace and healing for me. I was able to get the quiet and tranquility I needed. Rosemary was a very responsive and considerate hostess. I will definitely be returning as often as possible.

Absolutely beautiful riverfront

Tucked away and secluded, but easy access to stores and of course the White River. We arrived late in the evening, but when we woke up the next morning and opened the door from the bedroom and saw the river right at our doorstep, it was breathtaking. The cabin has great amenitities, the enclosed porch made eating our meals easy and enjoyable, the bedroom upstairs gave our young adult children their own space, the firepit was well placed. We enjoyed the fisherman walking through the stream and the occassional Kayaks and canoes. We also appreciated the staircase that went down into the river and the private dock to come back to.
