Lake Lovers Overlook (VRBO 412437)
One of the best views in Hiawassee. From nearly every room, take in panoramic views of Lake Chatuge, the U.S. National Forest, and Brasstown Bald—the tallest point in Georgia. Enjoy stunning sunsets from the wrap-around covered deck, complete with lounge chairs, rocking chairs, outdoor dining, and ceiling fans. A security camera is located at the front porch and covers only the driveway area.

Great family getaway. Beautiful home and views. We were fine, but limited parking. Host was great!

Pictures don't do it justice!

The view was incredible and the cabin was wonderful. It was the perfect size for my family. We had two groups, one adult and one teen on the top floor, 2 adults and 2 kids on the bottom, and it worked great.Everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

One of favorite places!

My amazing husband and our two fur babies, stayed here the week before Christmas, for our anniversary trip! We had such an amazing time in this cabin! The view really is hard to beat! This place has view of Lake Chatuge and Brastown Bald! Having the view from the hot tub was amazing! We also loved how close it was to all of our favorite places in GA, NC, and TN! We would definitely stay here again!

One last trip before school starts

We did one last trip together as a family before school started. It’s a beautiful location and house accommodated our family perfectly! The hot tub was nice in the evenings as well.

Felt like home

This rental was so comfortable we felt like we were at home. The furnishings were comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed and the home was very clean. Karen was wonderful with communication and even let us know when a bad storm was moving our way. The location was great - close to the grocery store and a number of restaurants. We enjoyed the antique shops and wineries in the area and can’t wait to come back. This rental will definitely be a rebook for us!

Beautiful house, great stay

Great property, clean, well stocked. Downstairs is a “kid cave” with a pool table and foosball! Hot tub was an extra bonus and was great in the evening. We met the host Vince when he came to kindly replace the lock on the front door - very nice guy. Would definitely stay again

This cabin is as advertised with a stunning mountain view. Very spacious and comfortable. Has both drip coffee maker and keurig. Pool table was very nice. Owner easy to connect with and friendly.

Mountain getaway

Great location, close to Helen, Blairsville, Cleveland. Great property for 5-7 people. The view from the back is amazing! The kitchen could use a few oven pans. We only found one.

Absolute paradise

The place was more beautiful than the pictures. It's perfect for a large family or families and has the best rocking chair porch with the most beautiful view you can imagine. It was more than perfect for this exhausted teacher to relax and rejuvenate. Karen and Vince were awesome and I will definitely be returning.

Breathtaking

5 stars all the way. This place is beautiful, the hot tub has a perfect Mountain View which was the one thing I really wanted. It was close by tons of activities and restaurants and the kids even loved it! The house was spacious and clean. I highly recommend it, and plan to return in the future!

Nice location, beautiful view

Loved the view and lots of seating on deck. It's a very short drive up the hill for an excellent view. So close to all necessities and things to do nearby. The house is well stocked and clean. Great communication with host. Recommend the Towns Co. Beach and Park for kids just down the main road. Highly recommend an animal encounter at the North Georgia Wildlife Park. We met the baby animals and loved it. Helen is right on your way back in, and we enjoyed the food and outdoor seating at the Haufbrauhaus.

Spectacular views

This cabin is amazing. The view from the jacuzzi and decks are beautiful to see the lakes. We were a family of 4 and had plenty of room. The cabin is in a good location with plenty of restaurants in the area and very close to the Ingles grocery store. The kitchen has almost everything you would need except a toaster which we could not find. We brought our dog and she loved the back area and exploring the woods. I would highly recommend this cabin. Great communication with Karen.

Wow what a great view and great cabin

This cabin has a great clear view of Lake Chatuge along with the mountains including Brasstown Bald (highest point in Georgia). Even from the hot tub.The cabin is very comfortable and nicely decorated. It is fully stocked with everything you could want. The beds are very comfortable with nice linens. Downstairs is another apartment like area.(bedroom large bathroom and a game/sitting area with door to the patio and hot tub. The cabin is located at the end of the road with great privacy. Karen and Vince are easy to work with and always available by text or phone. I have been coming to Hiawassee for many years and we think this is one of the best cabins around and so convenient to town. I definitely recommend staying at Lake Lovers Overlook.

The view was incredible! We loved that it was close to town but still felt isolated. We also enjoyed the frequent visits of a couple hummingbirds enjoying the feeder.
