We enjoyed our stay at Amazing Grace! We were in town for our son’s wedding and we enjoyed the lake in between wedding events. The house was so clean and beautifully decorated! If we’re in the area again, we will definitely book a stay here again.

It's a beautiful location and the view from the giant living room window, high on the hill, is mesmerizing. It's blissful to watch the scene change through our the day and the sunsets were spectacular. The house is nice too ;). We loved the wide open space , well equipped kitchen and the game room was lots of fun. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us , Cindy Hart and family

Beautiful lake, perfect location on the lake. The house is very well decorated, comfortable, and well equipped. Our hosts were really wonderful, and were very helpful in every way possible.. I would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting a lakeside vacation.

Brilliant lakefront property with one of the best water views and sunsets ever! Very spacious, extremely clean house with everything we needed. Centrally located from several daytrip attractions in the area (Charlotte, Asheville, Boone). Excellent, thoughtful and caring hosts! Very memorable holiday and can’t wait to go back soon!

The view and property were absolutely perfect for our family and pets (even in the winter). Pictures can't capture how beautiful the water looks. The owners were accommodating and communicated quickly and efficiently. If in the area, we will stay here again.

We had a wonderful week at this gorgeous property. The house was clean, well equipped, and in such a perfect spot on the lake. Our boys loved swimming from the dock, kayaking, and fishing. We rented a boat two days from Lakeside Marina and had a great time exploring beautiful Lake Hickory! We would love to come back another time. Thanks!

The owners were extremely kind, communicative, and helpful. There were no unexpected surprises or hitches in anything. They let us check in early which was really outstanding, and clearly noted everything to be aware of! The lake was beautiful, and the surrounding area was peaceful and relaxing.

The home was clean and lovely, backed out on to the lake with kayaks we enjoyed. It was early October so the water felt a little chilly for the first second, but swimming was still fun! Boat rentals are available around the home. There was a game room that we got to enjoy. Just an overall nice, relaxing and well thought out setup.

We had a great stay at Amazing Grace. The setup of the space allowed us to relax and have fun as a family. The amenities of the property (great dock for our pontoon, game room, and kayaks) allowed us to park and not have to drive again for the week. The water was deep off the dock and so clear. The best part was that our dog was able to enjoy it all with us. We will be back!

Picturesque lake views from a home that has all the amenities you could hope for. Our family of six kayaked, fished and swam in Lake Hickory. During rain showers we played air hockey and foosball. The kitchen is stocked with all you need to avoid restaurants and COVID. The beds are super comfy. Our hosts were hospitable!

I fell in love with this property as soon as I walked in. The window with the view of the lake is amazing. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. The home is perfect for a family. We enjoyed the air hockey and foosball tables. Even though we came in the winter, we enjoyed the stay. We all want to return in the summer as well to enjoy the lake to its fullest. The home is immaculate and beautifully situated on the lake - just as it appears in the pictures. We enjoyed boating, watersports and fishing off the dock - though the fish were elusive! We immediately fell in love with this home! Our grandkids loved the game room and going down to the dock to watch for fish and turtles. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the spaciousness of this home and how we could all relax while in town for our daughter's wedding. Definite highlights were spotting cardinals and bluejays every day and the watching the sunrise and set on beautiful Lake Hickory. The homeowners were quick to respond and make our stay top notch! We will definitely keep this house on the top of our list when we return!

We booked this vacation home for an out of town baby shower. The floorpan of the house is perfect for family gatherings. The house is supplied with everything you may need - including kayaks, life vests, and a ping pong/air hockey table! The landscaping is really pretty which adds to the wonderful scene. The fire pit in the back is great with all the Adirondack chairs circling it - perfect for s'mores!. I just wish we had a few more days to spend at the house to relax and breathe in the wonderful country air!

Upon arrival we immediately felt relaxed and stress-free. The owners provided such clear communication and wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed. The views of the lake are just mesmerizing. We enjoyed the kayaks, all the water toys available and just some good floating in the lake. The kitchen has everything one needs, the grill was very clean and worked perfect for us. The house has a huge game room downstairs and there are so many spots to just sit and take in the beautiful surroundings. We would definitely love to come back again!

We had an awesome family vacation at Travis and Lesa’s lake home. The view of the lake was spectacular, we enjoyed fishing off the large dock, and relaxing by the camp fire under the stars. Kids enjoyed the game room, kayaking, and swimming off the dock. The lake water was as smooth as glass as we rented a boat from the marina to explore the lake and go tubing. The area has a lot to offer including golfing and hiking at South Mountain State Park. Although we stayed very active, it was refreshing to wake up every morning to a fresh pot off coffee and sit on the quiet deck overlooking the beautiful lake. We hope to return for a future vacation.

I don't know where to begin. Right off the owners contacted us and made sure we made it in ok and didn't need anything, provided us with their contact information. The home was ready early so we were able to check in. We were surprised by a welcome basket, snacks and beverages. The home had everything you could need then some. The owners clearly take pride in their own; its well maintained and very clean. The views of the lake from every room in the home is amazing. Its absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing. The beds are comfortable. I appreciated not having a long list of do's and don'ts. Check out was very simple. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Our family is so grateful to Travis and and Lesa for such a perfect week long escape to the lake. The house was just as beautiful as described and in an ideal location on the lake. The dock was perfect for jumping off, fishing from, and sunbathing. The fire-pit and patio was fun for the kids to make s'mores and relaxing for the adults as we watched the gorgeous sun sets each evening over the peaceful waters. The kitchen had everything we needed when cooking meals and downtown Hickory was an easy drive when we wanted to eat out. We could have easily stayed another week and not run out of things to do. Already looking forward to our next trip! Lastly - the hosts were extremely helpful with check in and check out. I took comfort knowing that if we needed them they were extremely responsive, but otherwise left us to do our thing and disconnect. Just wonderful, thank you!
