"What we liked: - location, close to several places to eat and several supermarkets, - the disposition of the toilet, the shower and the sink, they were all separated and it’s very convenient when traveling with 2 teenagers (and in general), - the two mail living rooms, the ones with the tatami were very welcoming and we spent most of our time in there, our sons slept there in 2 tatamis, - the washing machine was fast and did not make noise. Top Hidaka Hotel Reviews

Hotel Kii Tanabe

10/10 Excellent

"Very close to train station. Breakfast was good!"

Candeo Hotels Nankai Wakayama

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent hotel, look forward to staying with them again in future. Due to an early flight I arrived in the morning, but nonetheless the staff were extremely helpful. The lobby was spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful view, and I was able to get some work done while I waited for my room to be ready. The staff informed me as soon as it was, which was very much appreciated, especially what appeared to be a busy holiday period. Room itself was lovely, breakfast was excellent and well-managed despite quite a full hotel. Roof spa bathing area was also very well maintained and enjoyable."

Grand Mercure Wakayama Minabe Resort & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"While our stay at this location was short, it was fantastic. They have put in quite a bit of work to make the hotel clean and well taken care of, they rent electric assist bicycles to get to town for groceries or exploring. My family loved the hot springs. Laundry onsite. Beautiful beach nearby, although not great for swimming or snorkeling it was very pretty, quiet, and private. Staff is incredibly helpful. They sell packages that include breakfast and dinner, but not lunch. The buffets are HUGE with tons of food and drink options. I 100% would stay here again."
